For some reason I love Nickal, would love to see him do well. But my honest thought is that he won't be top 10, much less champ. His wrestling will not be unstoppable, this isn't the Joe Warren era where you can just walk in and take over with that alone.

I know it might sound weird to some but I truly don't even think his wrestling itself will be effective in MMA.
He wasn't confident enough to shoot on craig whereas Allen shot and subbed craig pretty easily so I think that craig fight indicates he isn't as confident in his wrestling as some fans think
i think he's confident in his wrestling, i don't think he was confident in his submission defense. it also was a pretty typical strategy to do what he did, the problem with the performance wasn't that he was afraid of the grappling, it was that he was afraid of the striking and allowed the fight to drag because of that. being wary of Paul Craig's ground game is smart, he submitted Ankalaev and Jamahal Hill 1 UFC LHW champion and one who is fighting for the title next. but it's stupid to be afraid of his striking when Craig is old, slow, unathletic, and has been vulnerable to strikes his entire career. that's where Bo lost me.
Before this fight I said I've never once been impressed by Muin Gafurov. Then he turns up like that. He looked awesome last night. Nakamura literally had nothing for him. Impressive by the Tajik. I still think someone needs to shave that lone piece of hair off his back though it looks weird. Nakamura needs to go back to the drawing board he was useless
