I finished Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy recently. Super memorable book, extremely bleak and effective world building. It's based on the story of an infamous gang of scalphunters from the Old West, called the Glanton Gang, and their various atrocities. Lots of scenes that have stuck with me
Next up I'm reading Altered Carbon again. One of my favourite ever books. I still need to get around to the Netflix series they did

Lol let me spoil it. He was a bad dude. The guy who wrote it is a holocaust denier.Presently I'm reading 'True Himmler'. Won't be a popular choice, but I like history and I want to see if Himmler was as evil as I thought he might be and pin down what triggered it.
