It gets pretty hard if you are playing at normal or above. Stick with it. It was hard for me at first too, but it’s a great game after you get used to it.
I cleared the first 5 stages. I think the world is about to blow up or something. I think the hardest part is not to pick up all the ammo. I didn’t realize the ammo resets if you leave the place.

Hopefully things get better when I finish a B squad. My infestation is pretty high but it doesn’t seem to make much difference except for the onslaught.

After beating expedition 33 started up KCD2 last night. I'm still basically in the intro section of the game but it already looks amazing. Can't wait to get past the tutorial and really start exploring the world but unfortunately wont get much time with it for a bit.

I started this one up but I hated that it was click to move and I bounced off it quickly after that.

You playing KCD2 on the Pro? Gorgeous and handles populated areas well, I'm thinking.

Yep on the Pro. Haven't made it to any towns yet still in the forest area on our way to town. Already though just the forest area looks amazing and I want to start exploring.

I tried out Aliens Dark Descent. The game is kind of hard or I am not used to that style of game.
I really liked it but yeah it was hard as hell. I played on the easiest mode for two playthroughs and couldn't come close to beating it.

Trying out the Tainted Grail demo.

It's ok so far. Obvious Elder Scrolls worship with a slightly better combat system. The parry could be a deal breaker as it isn't very intuitive and the dodge puts you miles away from the enemy without a good counter opportunity.

I'll stick with it for a bit, though.

I think I figured it out. You just need to be really careful with the engagements like setting up chokepoints. You can't just keep gunning every set of aliens down. I snipe a lot of aliens to avoid fights. I should use those motion trackers but it's part of the game I am not optimizing.

The beauty of the game is the initial encounter of every stage. It is a bit tense and you are just waiting for the xenomorphs to show up. Sometimes I don't even explore every part of the map because it's too much of a hassle. The game is hard though. I saw the achievements and only 40 percent of the people who owned the game made it past the 3rd mission

It’s kind of funny how it’s barely talked about now. Prior to Expedition 33 everyone was saying it was probably going to be goty and gushing over it. Now expedition 33 is spoken about as if it’s the best game ever made. Hype culture, FOMO culture or whatever you want to call it is getting out of hand imo. With that said it’s good that there’s a lot of games to choose from. I still think there’s a high chance ghost of Yotei becomes my favorite unless they fumble it

Yea E33 is my GOTY so far but I always knew KCD2 could take it as well. Honestly though as much as I'm loving KCD2 I just don't think it will do it. It's so much like the first one so it doesn't have that new feel to it. If this was my first experience with a KCD game then maybe I would feel different.

Oh Aliens Dark Descent got much easier now. I found some exploit for infinite ammo and stress relief. Apparently you can just go to main menu and reload the game. It lets you rest again. If you have ammo skill then it gives you a free ammo pack and take away all the stress

Thinking about buying this and not playing it until 3-4 updates later. It is still very early access but it is very promising.

Took out Strong and Gurgant.

Level 70 for three characters but still underlevelled for Renoirs Drafts.

Noise seems to be the best bet, but still quite slow.

Any advice?

Im working my through the life is strange games although Im doing them out of order:

I started with Double Exposure which is the most recent 5th game in franchise. This was the most casual game although the power mechanism was pretty weak. Provides for more of a light hearted enjoyable experience.

I then played the original Life Is Strange. Dark story but has the best super power that actually feels like an interactive part of the game instead of just a device to keep the story moving.

Now Im on Life is Strange: True Colors which is the 4th game in the franchise. This has the best dialogue and most immersive environment. Story is going a little slow though, not nearly as engaging a story as the other games but its still early, Im only chapter 2.

Idk where else to post this, and there isn't enough info beyond an announcement, so not starting a thread. But it was announced that there will be a Halloween game made with Unreal Engine 5, and with Carpenter having an active role in the making of the game.

And I'm stoked. Hopefully it is along the lines of Alien: Isolation

You want to grind at dark shores to about level 80. From there you can pretty much finish off the rest of the stuff.

I think I started grinding there about level 60, but it took forever to whittle them down.

The enemies there hit hard, but their attacks are easily telegraphed.
