Finished up the Demons Souls remake 9/10

Amazing game but pretty easily my least favorite Fromsoft game. It really made me appreciate what a step forward DS1 was level wise. The remake looks and plays fantastic though.

Like the guy above me im also torn between Wukong and Khazan next

Wondering what to grab... Wukong or Khazan.
Khazan all the way imo. Only tried the demo of Wukong but from what I played it had a ton of invisible walls, combat that lacked impact, and performance issues on consoles. If you have a powerful PC it might be worth it. Khazan has the better combat and it runs pretty much flawlessly. If you like the Nioh games then you'll like Khazan. Less focus on exploration and more on combat and boss fights. Oh, and the devs seem way cooler. Already free DLC coming in May. The devs of Wukong kind of irritated me with their classless response to AstroBot winning GOTY. Kind of a nitpick I know but still....

You pick yet, bud?

No, not yet. I had a long ass work day up in Oakland for a event Saturday. (Left at 8am got home at 3am this morning. Great paying gig, just long and kinda grueling. ) So I'm just recovering and going to make a choice soon.

Leaning to Khazan after reading @Zazen post. Thanks for that imput btw. My new pc is definitely beefy, it could run Wukong nicely. My pc will be even better as I was able to get a 9070xt red devil Friday morning at msrp too. What's funny is I was looking at the price on my screen for a moment saying $799... Seriously? Most of that model have been at like 1100 to 1300 bucks the last couple weeks. 6 left in stock, hit buy now and got one. I go back to the item page less than a minute later and 1 is left. Refreshed the paged maybe 20 seconds later and they're all gone.... I'll get it on Tuesday.

I see myself getting Wukong after beating Khazan. I definitely like those types of games.

Picked up the Khazan demo.

God damn. They werent kidding about the difficulty. I've beaten tons of Soulslikes but i spent two hours on the first boss this morning and o ly got him below 50% health once. Eesh, this game might not be for me.

Edit:got him lol

I'm playing red dead redemption 2 again. Going super slow and just screwing around in the world mostly treasure hunting, completing the challenges and farming odriscolls and stealing wagons for money.

I wish you could take gang members with you just to randomly screw around in the world. I think that is the one thing that would really make the game better. I wouldn't mind having more than 2 rifle options either.

For fun the other day I googled who is the hottest chick in rdr2 and was kind of shocked by the results. I figured Karen was going to be number 1 and saw a lot of people had her in last place. Wtf people.

I just finished Madison VR on PS5 Pro - PSVR2.

I gotta say that.....it was one of craziest and terrifying gaming experience i ever had. I'm very hardcore when it comes to horror stuff either be movies or game and usually laugh at jump scares and gory stuff but this was truly something. I thought House Beneviento in RE8 Village VR was intense but this is on a whole new level.

If anyone is into VR and like horror stuff i highly recommend it......if you have the balls lol. Flat games aren't even comparable to VR when it come to immersion not even close. And that's quite impactful with horror games. Madison is at the top of the list

I'm going to do RE7 in VR on PC next with UEVR injector mod and PSVR2 adapter. I played it at launch years ago but i know that in VR it's gonna bring a whole new dimension to the game. Being pursued by Jack in VR ? Bring it on baby !!

I tried Borderlands 2 but I had a issue with being stuck on the load screen before the main menu. I tried reinstalling, hard resets, clearing cache, but I only got through the first time. This is a shame because I actually bought this game a while ago. Uninstalled.

I'm giving Borderlands 3 a go as Beast master. Level 7 right now. It's alright, but I'm not feeling it too much.

Couldn't really play my main games this weekend because of bday celebrations and all the noise. Decided to try Lies of P again with different weapons and it's so much better now. The Umbrella a lone was helping me destroy the mad clown pretty easily. He still got me but I never bothered healing was just trying to see how much easier it was. I'm also not specced into the correct stats for that weapon.

Then I switched to a normal great sword weapon that I started with. Shorter range then I would like which is why I changed it out for the Holy Sword. It's still slow but much faster than the Holy Sword and this time I destroyed the mad clown. Was able to parry everything much easier.

I don't know I thought that Holy Sword weapon was good but it's way to slow for me and it felt like any swing animation lasted way to long. I'm caught up in Daybreak 2 at this point but as soon as I'm done I'm going back to Lies of P to finish it since I did like everything up to that point but the weapon I had was just dog shit (for me anyways).

I might try and respec for the Umbrella. Something about using that weapon in this setting just seems fitting but I'm not even sure if you can respec in this game so I'll need to check that as well.

I just recently completed BL3 as someone who tried but didn't stick with either BL1 or BL2. Honestly, it doesn't really click with me although I like the worldbuilding and aesthetics. I always just find the gunplay and looting unsatisfying. I kind of forced my way through BL3 and was glad to be done with it

I think it's just one of those games that needs co-op.

I like the look, the world, the gunplay is alright, but between combat there is nothing. It feels somewhat hollow without someone to screw around with.

Still on schedule 1. I don't know why but that simple game is really good. It checks the right boxes for an addictive game with satisfying game loop. I might put it down soon though. The game isn't complete yet and I am assuming it is going to look much better later.

I'm about to uninstall Borderlands 3.

Co-op is pure shit. I keep getting kicked even though I've only just joined...

Are you getting kicked by the servers or the players? It's an older game now, so I can imagine that the community are a bunch of pricks that boots any and all noobs.

It's still a good solo game, though. It ain't "Fallout" or anything, as it's just a simple shooter, but the loop is still pretty good. If you are playing solo, you should go with the beastmaster(?) or that chick that has the robot. It makes up for the lack of help. Don't expect much more than a power fantasy, though. The story is alright, but nothing that will drive you forward. It's all about the guns. Once you get one that really suits your fancy, it's pretty fun and addictive, and continuously upgrading your character's powers is always satisfying. I know it seems like a pure co-op game at first, but if you get into it, you'll see that it's not all that necessary to enjoy it. It's balanced pretty well. Some of the DLC practically requires co-op though. Lot of raid bosses.

That said, it is what it is. I'd give it at least 10 hours to see if it clicks or not.

I gave it a few hours, upgraded a few times.

I did play Beastmaster, using the Spiderling and Rakk.

I was being kicked, definitely. I was at a similar level to the others as well.

I don't think that I can give it more time. I can play it alone, sure, but I still see the potential of co-op play. I just find it to be too disappointing.

I may bite the bullet and buy Monster Hunter: Wilds. I don't like spending too much money on games, but the MH community has always been solid.

Console games need lists of lobbies. Matchmaking is terrible.

Been playing Warriors: Abyss the last couple of nights, a Dynasty Warriors themed Roguelite / Musou hybrid type of game
