Nature & Animals What Animal Frightens You the Most?

Who'd have thought... the beast of Caerbannog actually exists...

lmao! after i got bit i actually referenced that to . . . myself and the bunnies . . . lol. i was like damn, that monty python rabbit was an accurate depiction!

What kind of rabbits do you have? I remember caring for one when I was a little kid. That dude was real gentle and I don't think he is capable of biting hard.

Take a pic.
shes very gentle, a good natured bun. but yeah they can give you a good bite. not the first time ive gotten the teeth. i had a bunny, radio gaga, whenever id cut his nails or administer meds hed bite the shit out of my arms, causing multiple bruises. he was just a dick lol.

I would totally start referring to it as "The beast of Caerbannog" from then on...

A moose honestly. I’m in eastern Canada so we don’t have grizzlies or it would be a grizzly bear.

Moose are very unpredictable, especially during mating season. I’m an avid outdoorsman and hunter and I’d be more afraid to meet a moose alone than any other animal. We’re not allowed to carry handguns here in Canada either which makes it extra bad.

I have a cabin in the middle of the woods, off the grid on a lake. If I could carry any .44 on me, I would, trust me. I don’t go without a firearm but it has to be a rifle or shotgun. I have a 45/70 I leave in the rafters of the camp.

To be fair, cougars are pretty terrifying... especially running into one in their natural environment(a local bar)

that’s disgusting 🤢 🤮

I once seen a huge male tiger really up close. It was looking at me as if I were food. Not a pleasant feeling at all, that mf was legit scary.

I'm not scared of these figurative cougars. Shout out to the bullpen in redondo beach and foxfire restaurant in Anaheim hills.
IYKYK.

Sharks. I've seen JAWS too many times and the thought of going into water that isn't crystal clear scares the hell out of me. If it's crystal clear and I have goggles, I can swim in it no problem. If it's murky or dark or in any way doesn't have good visibility, I'm out. I know the chances of being attacked by a shark or whatever in the water are extremely low, but the imagination is in overdrive the minute I might have to go in. Creeps me the fuck out.

Chimps.

They share the same evil humans have inside of them that allows them to be needlessly sadistic.
Theu can casually melon-ball your face with their hands. Unless you can pull your gun in time your going to experience hell.

They also eat smaller monkeys. Primates eating primates is something I find absolutely disgusting.

Polar bears or anything that easily overpowers you and eats you alive.
If I ever saw a polar bear in the wild, I would be shitting myself. Or I would just try to accept that my time has come.

Years ago, the last time I went to a zoo, I walked by the tiger enclosure and made eye contact with the tiger. Even though I knew it was behind plexi glass and couldn't hurt me, it triggered something primal in my brain and I froze for a split second. It must been what our ancestors felt when they ran into saber tooth tigers.

Hate bugs. Anything with a bunch of legs that can fly or even if they cant fly can FUCK OFF.

Some animals are really fucked up like Komodo Dragons, but since im unlikely ever to encounter one, they are OK with me.

They're not too bad. I saw them at Komodo Island in a tour. As long as you stay with the group you're fine. They just walk by you and honestly seemed more mildly annoyed at the horde of tourists following them and taking pictures.

There is the occasional idiot who wanders off for pictures and gets eaten so just don't be stupid. When I was there was one dumbass stood right in one's way as it was walking past us, and the local guides were yelling at him to get out of the way but he had to get his selfie first. Fortunately (or unfortunately) he got out of the way last minute so we didn't get to see a guy get eaten.

Yeah i dont really have a problem with them, its just seeing how they kill things, it would be a spot of bother, to go out like that.

You’ll all laugh but, I’ve learned the hard way that rabbits deserve a lil respect on their name!!!

I’m trying to bond two bunnies, went haywire the other night, one went to attack the other and got me instead. I have an open wound on the joint of my finger and it swelled up to balloon size. Had to go to the ER and now I’m getting rekt on antibiotics. I now have no feeling in my index finger, it’s very weird. I can’t feel my other hand touching it, but also when I touch it it also feels weird to the hand touching it, like there’s no bone inside or something. It’s bizarre. Not sure if it needs to be cut open and drained or if the nerves have been damaged. It was quite deep.

Anyways, since I live with them, I fear them most lol.

I've seen Watership Down, them rabbits can be fierce

Horrible fucking way to go for sure. At least a great white or tiger could make it quick.
