Ive seen him a couple times at youth wrestling comps in out in Orange County and he’s a couple boys training/competing

The older one is supposed to be a complete stud. They have a gym at home and Mario has coaches pretty much teaching his kids full-time at his crib. Both wrestling and BJJ

Volk was always great with feints, entries and footwork. But at his age, this disadvantage will be a problem.
Diego is a good counter striker.

#1 Volk vs #3 Lopes, two highest ranked guys fighting for the title. Volk being the long dominant champ vs Lopes who's been the best performing FW the last 2 years.

If Evloev was offered the fight and declined, because of his religion, that is a completely different story.
I haven't heard that confirmed by anyone.

But a guy getting a title shot off of 2 straight KO losses, instead of an undefeated fighter who is 9-0 in the UFC... I'm sorry, but that's just wacky...
Not to mention the OTHER fighter getting a title shot has already lost to the aforementioned undefeated fighter...

He really isn't. If you said Evloev vs Lopes, then maybe you have a point. But Lopes deserves the fight more. Higher ranked, more active and better wins. Since they fought in 2023, Lopes is 5-0 with the highest ranked win among them, while Evloev is 2-0.
