weakest ppv card ever?

this weekends card is probably the worst ppv card in history in totality from top to bottom...
i barely know any of the fighters outside of the top 2 fights...
how on earth do they think this warrants charging $60+?

Fucking noob, 2 title fights. I could name 20 ppv cards that are worse

It's absolute GARBAGE minus two fights. The UFC is watering everything down with all the UFC Fight Pass Contender series fighters. Each card has 5 new no names, and if you don't have fight pass, you don't know wtf they are. They don't give AF about putting on quality cards anymore with the best fighters, and instead are opting to star build local level talent and pass it off as elite since WME owns the UFC name.

Bellator is gaining ground and gaining ground quickly.

Well, Micro Mouse is on it which automatically lowers it a few notches. Main event is good, but who wants to sit through 4 boring fights to get to one good one? Only saving grace is that MM isn't the main event so there won't be large numbers of the crowd leaving during his fight.

I'm pretty sure you're one of the very few (if not the only guy) who thinks that Cody vs TJ is as good as Khabib vs Tony. Plus, its a stupid rematch on top of that, fuck that shit.

Yeah, it is indeed a stupid non sense bullshit rematch. I still dont understand why TJ took that fight.

But both are rematches, and one just happened and ended in the second round. The other is a no brainer that previously ended in a few minutes, and takes place in the weakest division in MMA. Plus, they are manlets, which is only surpassed by WMMA is terms of boringness.

A great main an conman with da mighty duck v his only so so comp at 125. Other than this it's fookin awful. A wmma fight that I never heard of either fighter, a opening bout on main card I really don't know either fighter, and a Thiago fight an I don't know his opponet and Thiago is kinda meh himself. That's the main card. The prelims are worse.

Yeah 228 is horrible as well.

Pretty sure UFC is just testing the fans, seeing what the limit is for shitty cards.

How many of you sheep will pay for these cards?

Don't give them a dime.
Some would try to argue that unless you buy the shitty cards youre just a filthy casual, poor, dont care about fighters getting paid or a combination of the three.

Those people are total lemmings.

Having bought many awful cards over the years I refuse to do it when I dont like what I see on paper.

227 UFC ppv events and this is the weakest card ever..?

Absolutely, from UFC 31 up to WMMA, I paid in full or at least in part for almost every single event.

I almost never pay anymore more. Start making the cards worthy and I'll start paying more.

I highly doubt it. The last Dillashaw/Garbrandt fight was a 10/10

This is the equivalent of saying this is the worst thread in the history of sherdog. While this thread IS bad, it would only prove that someone coming up with such a statement has the memory of a shrimp.

LMAO. Amen.

Did you just start watching yesterday?

Maybe in terms of pure strength (2 little fucker title fights), but there are some decent fights anyway. This definitely is not a sit at home and pay $64.99 card, it is a go to BWW and watch over a couple of beers/wings, therefore it will be a less than $30 card for me tonight.

I have ordered ever PPV from the UFC since UFC 39 , the only exceptions are Mighty Rat fights . I may watch at the local Bar but I am not paying for this one.

If you were looking at it "in a vacuum" UFCs 1-4 could all take the cake for worst of all time.
Imagine if they put that card on today. the lack of skilled fighters, cardio issues. CM Punk could probably do well against 70% of the fighters before you got to the true specialists
I completely disagree . Early UFC fights were awesome. No wrestling all slugfests or quick submissions. They were very entertaining. I agree they didn’t have the technical skills of a Ben Askerin but they weren’t boring ever.

Remove the entirely irrelevant WMMA match for a decent scrap and this is one of the best main cards of the year so far. ( Not saying much considering how bad most of the ppvs have been)
