im a wrestler myself and i hate when they lay and pray, if youre gonna grapple make same transitions move around go for a submission or try to ground and pund do something! in a wrestling match the ref will call that stalling and reset you and your opponent

All grappling is boring. However, it is necessary, because pure striking will lead to a lot more staring competitions. Grappling can change the dynamic of the fight.

The problem with many grapplers is that they don't transition to serious ground striking when they are in position. They prefer to lay-and-pray and win a boring decision.

It's not even that wrestling is boring. But if you have boxing, kickboxing, bjj, and wrestling... not sure why anyone would deny that wrestling is the most boring. Either as one aspect of an mma fight, or as individual sports.
