Okay, they're willing to say anything they can to salvage FLASH apparently. Lord why is that movie so tough to get their arms around? Everyone loves speed-motion. Extreme tempo changes almost always sell. What's the hold-up?
Unfortunately, they already had a really decent Flash on the CW with backstory and build up. But decided to say screw the multi-billion dollar Marvel philosophy and just recast him for the movies, as if the Arrow and Flash are non canon. They don't know how to do multiverses.

Flash movie?

Don't waste Keaton's epic return as Bruce Wayne / Batman in a movie with a lame superhero.

Bringing him back as old-Batman in Batman Beyond would guarantee it'd make a billion dollars.
Yeah, he could even have pictures of Michael Gough around, with some bitter sweet "I miss you Alfred" scenes.

Nah, just have a framed picture of Alfred in the Bat-Cave.

Its always better to show rather than tell.

Um..... a replacement for Affleck?

They need to remember the phrase 'Less Is More' until they can figure out a way to use him more and more without him becoming stale.

Robert Downey Jr and Hugh Jackman as each of their iconic roles are rare. They weren't originally signed to be as huge as they were but the fan reaction to them was so great they demanded more of them so the studios put them in more movies, for better or worse. (Wolverine Origins & Iron Man 3)

Keaton being old Bruce Wayne in a Batman Beyond movie would be iconic.

Keaton being Batman, 30 years later, in the DCEU.... ain't going go to the way WB would want.

If Stallone can keep making Rambo movies, Keaton can still pull off Batman. Now I want another Commando from Arnold.
