They just want your money and don't really care what you think. Both are the same faction and presumably have the same design team, and yet one is amazing and the other is dog shit. What gives?
But if I think they're shit then they won't get my money. They just want your money and don't really care what you think.
That thing is looking prettyI've posed and started printing my legs. The pistons are integrated into the print so they're one piece, not glued on. What you see here is four pieces, the two outer toes and the two halves of the leg (split vertically down the middle).

Bunch of stuff from the Nova Open [LINK].
One thing I just don't get. How do you go from having one of the best looking character models GW has ever done in this dude:

To some of the worst looking infantry they've ever done in these dudes:

I can't wait to see the legs fully assembledI've got the whole lower body printed now. I'll have some pictures once I've got it assembled.
I also have been blocking out the mars body. Some of it was straight forward and easy, but the main armor panel that covers the back/neck (the green part below) was an enormous pain in the ass to get looking right. Next up is blocking out the head. Once that's done I can use all the dimensions I produced here and use them as reference to develop the Lucius version. I'll probably end up going back and forth between the two versions for the detail pass; get sick of one, go work on the other.

Me neither, looks badass even now.I can't wait to see the legs fully assembled
god damn this looks amazingPartially glued, zero finish work. Printing with new material, settings not quite dialed in and it's a little rougher than hoped. Project on hiatus until my depression improves a bit; currently have zero creative energy.

To elaborate: I've had major depression since I was 14 (20 years now). Mental health problems run in my family and at this point its going to be a life-long issue. The intensity of it comes and goes. I'm not in any danger right now, I'm just exhausted and can't "summon the muse". Basically I'm paying for how productive the previous two weeks had been.Looks great!
Sorry to hear about the depression man. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help. There are a plenty of resources out there
