I was willing to give him an opportunity just based on the fact that the president was elected, he put forth his nominee, and the Senate confirmed him (however controversial and tenuous). It would've been a huge disservice to our national security if I had rooted, wished for, or predicted failure for him, especially given the potentially disastrous consequences there. The biggest character issue I have with him 100 days in is the lack of accountability and professionalism, particularly in dealing with the colossal fuck up that was the Signalgate scandal. It's also difficult not to notice the overtly politically partisan nature of the Pentagon itself now, which is nothing short of absurd. It is not the road we want to be going down.

Why? He was amazingly underqualified. This was a very preventative breach of national security. Why on God's green earth would you trust this President?

But he falls in pretty perfectly with Trump's unwillingness to be seen in his own natural skin tone or hairline, and JD Vance's Emo eyes and distaste for Military attire as he chastised the dress of Zelensky.
