War Room Lounge v97: Jesus Christ, you're even pedantic with foreplay.

I didn't mention the first time, but again you're trying to move the goalposts to it to a spot you like.

The conclusion is that a poster agrees with or endorses a statement. that's not a judgment on their character but rather the conclusion about their opinion.

And frankly we're able to draw whatever conclusions, as long as we can provide some type of explanation or evidence for it.

If I make a post that states:

Anung is a scumbag

And someone likes it, there's not a whole lot of ambiguity there.

And once again, it's silly to pretend there is.
Guess why I liked this post.

We're all a part of the circlejerk of life

You notice him beginning to secrete? He is slowly spurting the essence that we need to absolve him of his Ennui....

Anyone else had to think of a perineal tear itt?

Well my month has been hell at work but I got a decent bonus for it today that has made it all feel worth it. Also a mixed performance at open mat but someone showed me a really good technique I could add to my half guard.

Beautiful, I feel at ease knowing you are improving your powerful body. Do you feel at your tightest when you are on half guard or full? Also what is your favorite constrictive technique?

About to go on the road again. I decided not to go to shot show this year. But the guy I work with just drummed up cases in Virginia and Conn. So I guess this mean this old cowboy is about to get on the road again.

Further proof that the Lounge is a leftist circle jerk.

It has devolved into civil war. Now is the time to fan the flames and pick up whatever is leftover when it’s all said and done

Yes, liking lies in legit argument is in poor taste, but not worth a side argument, which is just a red herring anyhow.

Sometimes you have to respect the fact that a low-effort, soon-to-be-banned troll manages to bait a regular into a dead-end conversation.

It's just one of those under-dog stories. You've got to root for the little guy.

McDonalds does espresso drinks all over. I've had them in Canada, France and the Netherlands at least. Timmy Ho does espresso as well these days.

I don't know what Timmy Ho's is. I'm surprised McDonalds does espresso everywhere, not that I eat there ever, but they were renowned for shitty drip coffee. Especially around the time of their famous lawsuit and resulting reduction in temperatures. I was lead to understand that's the norm for American coffee (not just at fast food joints, but in terms of their consumption), which is often given as part of the explanation for why Starbucks had such success in the US and failed utterly here. It's also part of the story about the origin of the "Americano" (although it's a "long black" here).
Finland are actually supposed to be the largest coffee consumers, but I don't know about the preferences in style or quality.

You can get good coffee in Helsinki if you know where to look, but everyone I know just makes filter coffee or uses a french press. The last time I had a McDonald's coffee was in Helsinki and it was a drip coffee, not sure if they have the espresso machines there. There's one starbucks in Helsinki (not including the airport) adjoined to my favourite bookstore.

I'm fairly certain the whole "McCafe" thing was started here in Oz in '93. '94 was when McDonalds had their infamous lawsuit, and with the growing international popularity of espresso I understand it took off from there. Every McDonalds here has been a "McCafe" for some time, but I did notice it was a lot slower in expanding into S E Asia.
Funnily enough we grow very little coffee and regionally the biggest producers would be Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, where dark roasts and French press is far and away the norm. Generally coffee quality throughout S E Asia is pretty poor I'd say, but typically when travelling I just switch to Malaysian style kopi for nostalgia value (the gardeners at the boarding school I went to used to give it to me when I was 4 and I developed a taste for it) and treat it as a completely different drink.

Coffee Drinkers are drug addicts .Same mannerisms and behavior.
They pretend they need it to be more focused or energetic or whatever, meanwhile they just get shaky and nervous and have to go piss every 20 minutes.
I started drinking coffee because it tastes good, not for the caffeine.

But now I am legit addicted in that if I don't drink it I'll get a headache and feel sleepy. So you are right, we are drug addicts. In fact it was the gateway drug that sent me down a path of harder drugs.

Like Tylenol.

There's definitely a dependence on coffee. I won't pretend to be above it. But it's not just caffeine, IMO. At one point I was hooked on caffeine and disgusting energy drinks did the trick for me. Coffee has a lot more going for it, though: it's a hot drink, for one, and it smells and tastes really good if you know what you're doing. It's a whole experience. What you're hooked on is dopamine, I think.

Now, if shitty coffee still does it for you, that's a different story.

I avoid coffee on the weekends so I can measure how bad my withdrawal is getting.

That's also why I don't drink during working hours

Yeah, I use a hand grinder for coffee at home to keep my consumption down, and still have to go cold turkey for a week every few months when my consumption reaches ludicrous levels.
