This is further making me think we are on completely different pages. All I asked for is some examples of that post so I can at least explain my perspective. If I assume what you mean, it can go the wrong direction (like I assumed guessing the OT thing and must've been wrong) but at the same time if its broad enough, I don't know what the disagreement is about or the point made.

The main point is the simple old thought that at 0F you’re cold and at 100F you’re hot; at 0C you’re cold and at 100C you’re dead. Which is where the intuitive part of it regarding air temperature makes sense to me.
