The macroeconomy is far too complicated for any human to model accurately. If you can accept that, then you can see why Keynes could have gotten some features right while missing other big pieces.

I'm not following the conversation closely so maybe someone mentioned it but I think the MSM's coverage of the Mueller report was phenomenal. It was so good that the Mueller report didn't have the "wow" factor it should have since a lot of the findings were already public.

I believe that men and women are biologically distinct. I believe this extends to psychology. I believe that in the absence of good men, most women feel lost. I believe that males have largely abandoned their traditional roles (standing up to evil, providing financially for their families, teaching skills and values to the next generation), which is destroying women.

Homer, I meant what I wrote with love and sincerity. I have noticed that Jack lashes out sometimes in apparent anger. I am reminded in particular of the time he told @Cubo de Sangre to kill himself. I believe that males should not feel anger. If males feel anger, it is usually a sign they have not forgiven their parents---usually their mothers. With Jack, I also sense some tension with his father though. I think that relationship has probably been rocky.

I can understand why you would interpret my words as an attack, but that's just wrong. I recently made a long trek to visit my mother. I forgave her and did not back down when she made excuses and tried to change the subject. Through this experience I became aware that I had already forgiven her. This reinforced my confidence that I had found perfect peace.

Once again , how fucked in the head are you? Or is all this projection? I'm not a white genocide guy or think we're being persecuted. My position, my only position, on identity politics is to ignore inherent characteristics and focus on ideas and behaviour. That is, in areas where we're equals. And men and women aren't equal physically.

Anyone with decent reading comprehension and a quality news diet will. It's simply a fact that publications like the NYT and WaPo reported on tons of the stuff that ended up in the Mueller report. They did an incredible job.

It's not disconnected. Regarding battle sluts: it's fine to have fun at no one's expense. It's also important to call out weak males ("betas") in the service of encouraging them to become real men. Maybe the nomenclature turns you off. I believe we have a crisis of masculinity in our society.

What do you mean “no one’s expense?” It may be at your expense, frankly, if you think you can truly love people without empathetic joy or equanimity. But idk I’m just spitballing there.

Do you remember insinuating that my wife was a “battle slut” in one of these threads a while back? I’m not even positive what that term means exactly, but I know she’s not a slut. Just out of curiosity, was that based on her being an attorney or being an Olympic weightlifter? Those were literally the only two things you knew about her. Would you still label someone you’ve never met in such a way?

I found it pretty rude, and regarding “real men” I’m positive it’s not something you would say with the exception of over the internet without having met her and I. I don’t think it’s a particularly “masculine” trait to snipe from the sidelines at people who aren’t around. It seems to me you have some issues with women. And I say that with good intentions, I generally have liked interacting with you, but that was one instance where my eyebrows were certainly raised in a negative way.
