My musing for the day:
I like documentaries. Sometimes I find myself stumbling across documentaries on the British Royal Family. The are probably the most nauseating documentaries in the sense that quite often "political" documentaries are often critical, but these ones tend to be the ultimate puff pieces. But I find for these the hero worship of people solely based on bloodline is very disappointing for a modern western society. I mean, I can't be assed about all hoopla around Paris Hilton, but at least she contributed a porn tape to society.
To listen to these interviewees go bonkers about "Harry's big moment" because he cheated in a fake impromptu five second race against Usain Bolt, or how hip and modern and cool it is that Megan Markle was allowed over for xmas before they were married, or about how William "wants to be slightly different than his dad" is some of the most mundane bullshit.
I miss Hitchens who called out Diana on her bullshit when it seemed like the rest of the world wa fully inundated with Royal bullshit.
