I guess the ancestors of Polynesians were cracking coconuts with their heads and that’s why they can take a bat to the head and kind of shrug it off.

Club matches.

For sport they would have fights with large wooden clubs. It was part of the festivities.

That had to expedite selection for some thick skulls.

Oh snap, I never heard of that. I could imagine, especially in a small Polynesian island, you can’t really run. I guess that’s also what made Polynesians great sailors too lol. Need to literally cross the ocean to get away from your enemies.

Yeah, by cheating.

Yup chair and 2 chin musics. Then i booked andre to continue fighting with bret since we all know hbk cant beat andre and i want him to go on a run and flair is going to win number one contender tourny ....since andre and bret are gonna eliminate each other.

I know how this shit works im a great booker.

No lighter. But like Archimedes said, give me a long enough lever and it will still take me a few minutes to open your beer.
You have obviously not been in that predicament as many times as me. There's always a way.

Even Bleach with all it's faults at least had un-mitigated violence.
In terms of longevity and quality between the old Big Three the most fair ranking is probably

One Piece>Naruto>Bleach

Which is funny because back in the day on all the manga sites I used OP ranked third in popularity with Naruto and Bleach ahead. But in Japan OP was always the most popular. Me personally I was a Naruto fan before it became cool but in the end I was more of Bleach guy. I just liked it for the, uh, plot

IIRC I think Bleach had the highest proportion of female fans which is funny because on the surface it had the most overt fan service for boys but in reality it low key had lots of fan service for girls with all the bishie characters. On all the fan poll Rukia was the only consistently ranked female character with maybe one other female, the rest being the male characters that were clearly favorites among the girls.
One Piece really is king. Its not even one of my favorites but its longevity and quality can not be denied.

HxH will always be my favorite shounen
I think the late 90s had the best shounen with series like DBZ, YYH, and RK. After a second of Googling I found this poll from Japan in response to the question "which manga best define you?"

HXH ranks above Bleach, Naruto, DBZ, YYH, and RK so apparently Japan agrees with you over me.

Not as bad as what other people have mentioned, but I just discovered that I forgot I had a Lindt chocolate ball in my shorts pocket, and now my phone and pocket and even the outside of my shorts are all covered in sticky melted chocolate. The white shirt I'm wearing also somehow got chocolate stains from it.
Again, you kinds and your euphemisms--really, Jack. If you're into scat porn, just make a Mayberry thread already and leave that shit where it belongs.

The thread has a bunch of videos from the protests, including cops being extra friendly with the militia larpers, multiple people running over protesters, and shots fired.

I want to believe he would be just like when he won and told the crowd to stop saying lock her up. “Elections over” or something like that. Doesn’t seem like that would serve him well though for what he does after though so he’ll probably stoke those flames and keep the die hards on board if he does lose.

Too many things are stacking up in this year that it feels like a tipping point. Empty seat on the court, pandemic leading to mass mail in voting, President who plays around with the election process which we can at best hope is just a ploy to get his fans riled up. It’s all fucked. I don’t have faith that more than 80% of the US will accept the results of the election at this point. We are in the worst political climate for this scenario to play out.

Yeah, talk about your perfect storm of shit. Best of luck. I said back when Trump was elected the impact would be far worse than anyone could predict and here we are, 200,000 dead and trending toward 1M, all the makings of a contested election with a heavily biased Supreme Court, and a good 20-30 percent of the nation prepared to support Trump just to stick it to the libs. And that's not even mentioning the total corruption of the office of Attorney General and government agencies like the CDC, forced sterilizations in concentration camps, and on and on. Good luck.

The best plots.

I went out with some buddies for a great steak dinner tonight.

I had a Cajun ribeye. Dusted with a nice crust of Cajun spices on a perfectly fatty ribeye.

I had some bourbon side cars tonight too. They were served with a delicious black cherry and blackberry.

I haven't had a back and forth with Judo in some time. I guess I should clarify what I mean. Judo may well rely on the same arguments against liberalism, socialism, etc. that right wing shit posters do (I haven't noticed that, but for argument's sake), but the difference is that he actually understands and desires the inevitable outcomes of right wing policy.

That is, he's not saying (like most right wingers) that public healthcare is bad because it's inefficient, that it lowers quality, or that universal coverage can be better achieved through ultra-corrupt private administration. He opposes it because he fundamentally does not believe people who cannot afford to pay current rates for their medical needs deserve medical care. Likewise, he doesn't believe Republican propaganda that regressive tax cuts will make the working and middle classes better off: he knows that they won't, but he thinks it's a more moral distribution. He believes (incorrectly, on this point, imo) that government redistribution of wealth and income does more to distort meritocracy than reinforce it and that, instead, we should be catering to the existing "producers" of society: billionaires. Most other, less intelligent right wingers agree with him (mostly as a matter of partisan acceptance) on policies, but they believe or claim to believe that those policies will better achieve the same ends that liberals seek: equality, fairness, happiness, etc.

It's despicable to me, but at least it's honest. @JudoThrowFiasco Let me know if I misrepresented anything.

No, you're pretty much on the money. I do not pretend gop policy is the key to enhanced quality of life for the bottom rungs, but it' provides the best outcomes for my economic bottom line as a high earning white male. Socially I often agree with liberalism but I dont really empathize or overly care about those issues. I definitely do not think Republican policy is beneficial to people in the bottom 80% -- unsure how anyone could think they are.

As far as the exchange @Possum Jenkins had, it was regarding the streamlining of post secondary education (university) and my preference to keep it dedicated to ones career choice / academic major. Didn't even know that was a right vs left debate.

Edit* also note that I've been against a trump presidency since 2016, and would have had to even seriously consider backing a Sanders run if it came to that head to head v trump. Even though I would vomit at the thought and go hard as hell at rallying for a republican Congress and Senate.
