Her health isn't the problem here. She's simply embarrassing. She's 82 and presents as a rebellious high school student.

What other timing could there be though? Even though the ACA subsidies don’t expire until end of year, open enrollment for the ACA marketplace is November 1. People are already getting notices that rates are going to go up unless tax credits are extended. Extending the tax credits and protecting those people’s insurance coverage has to be done now.

That would be a great point if it was true at all. If you think about for longer than it takes to read a tweet it’s actually pretty stupid.

There’s still a bunch of government workers working those jobs and not getting paid for it right now. A lot of the core functions the government does are still functioning right now. And of course, there is a bunch of things the government does that you won’t necessarily notice the minute it stops, like say monitoring food and drugs.

It’s a real problem Americans have thinking that every changes impacts are instantly felt, and if nothing is felt right away then nothing will happen. It’s why we fail to make meaningful changes for the future all the time.

Will be interesting to see what democrats do because not only was no kings a flop, but as quoted below, Trump is at peak approval for him. He also seems to not even care about congress, which is actually kind of ironic as the left will cry that means he is an authoritarian dictator, but they are the ones that shutdown the government, thus giving Trump more leverage to rely on the power of the executive branch.

Meanwhile judges that try to block him are now routinely getting overturned… the left is in complete free fall.

I think they're gonna try starving their people for a Schumer win. At the end of the day, that's what it's all about. Some old dude who should be long retired, trying to look cool to a base that doesn't like him.

I know it's not his fault, but PA just announced SNAP benefits will not be issued in Nov due to the Democrat shutdown. It doesn't affect me because i am above those guidelines, albeit not much above, but it is going to hurt a lot of my wifes co workers. I am just glad they see through the bullshit and blame the Democrats. A lot of them are glad Trump allocated funds for WIC.
