Wanderlei Silva gets lifetime ban

There are plenty of guys who never failed a test.

...right up until they did.

And pretty much all of them cooperated and took their punishments afterwards, instead of fleeing the country, accusing everyone else of being corrupt, and retiring out of spite.

So you agree this was a first offense.

How bout you go suck on that.

And then try to claim that this has anything to do with the 13TH fucking amendment again clown.

Aww, somebody is mad that they were proven wrong with their own link, aren't they?

That's not even close to evidence. I could type that out right now and take a picture of it.

I don't see any reason to think he's lying. He used to post here as well, don't know if he still does but you can ask him if he fabricated that.

The hypocrisy on this forum is ridiculous.

Look he's on drugs. We all know it. Everyone who was around to watch PRIDE knew that everyone was taking drugs.
We looked the other way.
Wand and everyone else from old Chute Boxe came to the UFC looking deflated. Shogun could barely get through a fight, Wand "mysteriously" lost 20 lbs.
We looked the other way.
Wand had 3 tries to make a fight, couldn't do it. Ran away from drug tests. Went on a bizarre youtube rant about the UFC.

Now you're not only looking the other way, you're taking his side because you like him?

Whatever. Either you're against drugs in the sport or you're not. He's been doing drugs for 10+ years and it finally caught up to him. He ruined his legacy and the punishment he's taking is designed to set an example. He retires in disgrace.

Why did you use a plural there?

Has he run from more than one test??

Oh so you can cheat 100 times in a row as long as you say sorry..

100 times.......wow. hyperbole much.

but yes cheating/failing and apologising does reduce your punishment. like in most court situations.

Classic.

My link proved me right. The language clearly stated that that the timeframe of the contract can be extended which was why it was posted. :icon_lol:

Sure. Changes nothing.

Except that there has literally never been a lifetime ban, nor has there been a suspension longer than a year for first offense. Seems legit.

Wand's biggest mistake was not bribing a doctor to give bullshit testimony like Overeem and Sonnen.

I'm not a huge fan of Wanderlei. But regardless of that, this is a BS decision. If I were him, I would refuse to pay them a dime.

Denial ain't just a river to you I guess.

No. Wands biggest mistake was no cooperating like a grown up. The punishment is less sever if you play ball and don't waste everyone's time. This is the message being sent.

He knew what he did was wrong. He should take his punishment like a man and appeal it. This whole going public bullshit and posting threats on Twitter is childish. Nobody wants to hear that shit. And for the bullshit video of him retiring because of the UFC is just as crazy and furthest from the truth. Somebody needs to calm him the fuck down.
