The judges who gave it to Gane gave it to Gane because as cageside judges they don't have a broadcast view, and if you didn't clearly see that one backfist in the second round landed flush (as was clear on the broadcast, but, given that Gane walked right through it and there was no follow up, probably wasn't clear cageside) then giving the second round to Gane was entirely reasonable. When so little happens in a round that a different view of one or two strikes can completely change the result, a robbery is impossible.
