The flu killed between 60-80K people last year in the US alone. So that does provide perspective. However, from what we're hearing, the coronavirus may have a mortality rate of about 2-3% and is about four times more contagious than the flu.
So while it isn't time to panic, neither is this an issue that ought to be dismissed. It's for damn sure a valid worry and that is amplified by (again, valid) concerns that the Communist party might be lying and understating the problem.
Yeah... the Dr dying kind of shock that for me.
If there was one person China would not want dying from this, it would be him... for a myriad of reasons.
It’s basically made me question everything we’ve been told so far. Not shocked they’re saying that he’s really not dead yet.
