I think the issue is that local authorities are trying to mask the casualty reports by only reporting deaths that happen inside a hospital. If they die at home they don’t get recorded same as if they don’t go to a hospital they don’t get recorded for infected.

The official Wuhan medical update site has 250K contacts recorded with 180k being closely monitored which means the 180K haven’t been diagnosed with the virus but are showing symptoms. Imagine the difficulty it is and how overloaded their testing agencies. How can the possibly test 180K in enough time to act and prevent death. This thing killed in roughly 5 days if untreated.

And the way they are rounding up people and taking them to these 1950 era medical encampments are probably causing people to try other forms to cure.

they are under the assumption that if they didnt test them for coronavirus, then they didnt die from the coronavirus..... so they stopped testing the dead

pop up medical encampments are the only thing they can do. unfortunately, its just going to prolong the inevitable due to the lack of medical personnel, medical equipment, and medications. realistically, those pop up centers are just triage centers where the least sick get priority and those with the worst conditions are put away to die away from everyone else.

As an avid cruiser.....it’s not the worst thing I guess haha. Princess is like the Lexus (cause Japan) of Carnival so if you have to be quarantined on a cruise ship this or Celebrity wouldn’t be too bad
