11 cases in US and not much info about it. Is the government hiding something?

@SalvadorAllende not to beat this dead horse but the 20% from the day before is 2 less than this total. If the rate of infection stay at 20% we are looking at 100k in 10 days 600k (I think) by the end of the month with 12,000 dead.
Wait a minute... when is this shit arriving southamerica?

Because by the end of the month I will be in the southest city in the world. Really far from everything. Our little Syberia. Should I stay there?

Edit: Mandatory beating of a dead horse

We always have at the very least two months of food on hand as long as we have electricity. Probably a month if there’s no power.
Stay safe out there.

It's out of control in the US now as well. These bumbling retards robotically repeat phrases that clearly stand in contradiction to what they said 10 seconds ago

"They weren't quarantined, their health got much worse. In summary, we have everything under control."

Wat

A husband and wife in San Benito County who were diagnosed with the new coronavirus on Sunday became suddenly much more ill that night and were taken by ambulance to a hospital in San Francisco early Monday, public health officials said.

The man and woman had been self-isolating in their own home since Jan. 24, when the husband returned from a trip to China.

The couple was taken to UCSF, though the university would not say which campus. They are being cared for in isolation, UCSF officials said. Doctors there are specialists in “the care of patients with complex illnesses, including infectious diseases like the novel coronavirus,” UCSF said in a statement. UCSF “also treated patients during past epidemics, such as SARS in 2003.”

San Francisco public health officials said the couple “represent no elevated risk to the public. The hospital is taking all appropriate precautions for patient and staff safety.”

The couple had been in regular contact with public health officials and had been receiving medical treatment in their home until their symptoms worsened, San Benito public health officials said.

The husband was traveling in China from Jan. 18 to Jan. 24, Perez said. Upon his return, he contacted public health authorities about the possibility of having been exposed to the new coronavirus and was told that he and his wife should isolate themselves in their home.

"Isolating yourself in your home" is not a thing, they definitely spread that shit around

Yeah nah mate, they just announced border restrictions several days in advance and let thousands of Chinese come in straight from the virus epicenter and disperse completely unmonitored in the US. It's all good. Nothing to see here.

Luckily it’ll be a few months before it’s noticeable. Tomorrow if we have 2 cases we can pretty much be assured it’s a 20% infectious rate.
