Not that it would make what you wrote any less dumb. People don't vote for one candidate or another based on a single issue, nor was anyone exactly clear what Trump would do. So the majority of Americans' wishes regarding Ukraine might be contradicted despite the majority of Americans electing Trump.

not enough cumulatively outnumbers those who believe Biden was doing too much:
