Which is the better performance?

I feel like picking a winner is unfair to the loser. The one who comes in second was still fantastic.

I'd probably say Heath just because of all the hype around it.

Heath was fantastic and Nolans version of Joker gave him a bit more depth than Nicholsons version. I'd still give an edge to Kilmer on this. There were layers to his performance that some roles just dont have.

This is a very good race between the two.

I think a lot of Val votes come from a liking to the character. Val benefits from Doc Holiday being a man’s man. Funny as hell, smart as a whip, best gun slinger in the west, manages to still fuck while being a degenerate alcoholic, doubles back on his death bed like a true friend to fight Ringo who people considered the better marksman at the time.

That's tough. Ledger was incredible, but Val's dialogue IMO puts him over the top. Absolute quote machine in Tombstone, dude nailed the part and stole that movie with an absolutely stacked cast.

Votes are so close, it's basically a tie.

Kilmer, he could handle his shit and looked higher than ceiling paint in Tombstone.

Votes.

"WTF is wrong with you people!?!?"

End.

maybe a generational thing?

I'm not even sure Ledger was the best Joker (hes good dont get me wrong)...let alone better than Doc Holiday
