News USADA allowed athletes who failed drug tests to not be suspended or reported if they snitched on others

Imagine getting caught 3 times taking steroids in the UFC and all you get is 15 months. Then imagine your name is Jon Jones.
btw, this is before the Pico stuff. Insane this guy is considered for anything but the greatest cheat of all time.

Acting just like cops. Those fighters who took the deals are busters, want names so I can not respect them, but presume that even without knowing who they are that I already don't. Bitches.

If the informant list were to ever leak that would destroy careers worse than any drug test.

Right, but those were both reported by USADA and both served suspensions. Plus USADA also reported Jon's suspension being shortened due to "significant cooperation." This tidbit in the OP is saying that there could be guys who were neither reported nor suspended.

Look at the hearings and the times of their suspensions. MMA is a bit different because of the fact they don't compete every weekend, but there is a bit of a delay between reporting and the suspensions being finalised. USADA had a 3 strike rule on failing to be present for tests. My guess is look at people regularly tested and they are the people skirting this 3 strike rule the most.

Jones competing post picograms when they moved the card is a classic example vs Gustaffson.

I can't comment on undercover people still competing and snitching, but a shortened suspension is the same thing to me.
IMO if Jones couldn't test negative he should have been banned from the sport for 4 years. His recent debacle with the testers under the new agency should have been his final strike. he received another criminal conviction out of it.

We know he's willing to threaten test collectors and hide under cages for hours. Snitching definitely dosent seem like a stretch for a narcissist to protect their image.

Usada let Jon jones compete with trace amount of steroids in every fight since DC and excused it as picograms to muddy the waters. They were paid by the ufc to give the appearance of testing

How the fuck can the ufc pay a third party to regulate themselves? Makes no sense. They clearly can threaten them with being replaced by another company

I’m pretty sure this was always their policy and in their guidelines. The idea is that they get others and to the root of the supplier in exchange for you not being outed.

This is common in law and business.

This is different with athletes competing

It's worth noting that this has only come out because of a political shitfight between USADA and WADA.

Anyone who has paid any attention whatsoever knows that USADA is rotten to its core. It is little more than a protection racket.

If I recall correctly, Costa snitched in order to avoid punishment for being caught on film using an IV.

The 'snitch clause' should not be taken at face value.

It may just give USADA an excuse to allow exemptions, because they don't have to go into detail in what the snitching directly accomplished.

Who did Yoel snitch on?
He probably didn’t snitch but he looked saucy and his age was up there. I always think of Whittaker commenting on how he improved physically from their first fight at that age.

My heart says he’s clean but my mind won’t agree.

This shouldn’t happen in MMA.

”Yeah if you snitch we’ll let you go and beat people up while roided to the gills”

- Uhh sure okay, I’ll take that deal!

You think so? I never heard of anything other than speculation. His bubble gut and backne.
he looks like a ripped bodybuilder with the cardio of a marathon runner, add to that the bubble gut and backne

Anti-UFC shills told me USADA was amazing though

Wait a minute, both Yoel and Jon have been suspended and reported (twice each for the latter). How are they good examples of not being suspended or reported?!

Lol exactly... just shows how low the IQ is in here.

Also this article is about racers...not MMA fighters ..

Jones was. He got a 15 month suspension for a third failed test, same amount of failed tests that got Diaz a 5 year ban and Wandy a lifetime ban. Its sickening how Dana nut hugs this steroid cheater.
Nick got his suspension reduced to like a year and a half. Then half his camp got busted for juicing

I thought this was basically common knowledge. If you play ball they reduced your suspension. I guess maybe the new part was they allowed athletes to continue to fight. Though I'm guessing they tested the hell out of them after that to make sure they weren't still using moving forward.

I know the Diaz bros aren’t no snitches or steroid users!! 209
Nick had his suspension reduced to 16 months from 5 years. His teammates all busted for PEDs. Nate failed a test, then had it taken back
