I think it is actually a good indicator. Foreign (both legal and illegal) labour is leaving the country and the jobs are being taken by Americans and/or all the new jobs are going to Americans.

This is great, because with a lot of foreign workers, they send at least a portion of their income to family back home. And we basically have no remittance tax, that income leaves our economy. With the income now going to American workers, not sending it to another country, it will further stimulate our economy.

Wage growth is now above inflation, so real wages are up too.

Listening to economist about the jobs number, I think the poor number is tied to tariffs. Assembly lines have been shut down periodically in smaller companies. And that's what pisses me off the most. This shit kills small business. Big corporations can make huge orders and work around the tariffs, at least for a while. Small businesses can't, and when they crumble the big boys will be right there to swallow up what little market share these small companies held.

I heard that these numbers won't reflect the tariff impact much , it's likely going to get worse which is why trump politicizing this office is so bad , will we see the real numbers going forward?

Yep it will take a bit. Smart companies planned and stocked up on all the impacted materials they could. Some impacted have a margin or plan to where they can float the cost to the consumer for a bit. Even if that means running lean & mean for a bit. Some companies suck and just wont do anything until they start to feel their bottom line and not meet certain essential obligations. Same will make up the margins by cutting quality of material or quality control standards.
Just wait until lean & mean equals more layoffs especially with A.I & automation initiatives on the desk of all shareholders with the promise to reduce labor spend, liabilities, & benefits. What a perfect storm for blue collar non tech workers to get fucked lubeless.
Its all telling that we are already seeing the impact now. But 100% eventually the cost will get forced to the consumer or limit the options to the consumer.

But losers already over extended & living paycheck to paycheck voted for this and fought tooth & nail for this....normally id wish them good luck.. I dont with this group.

He recently was forced to release a statement and own up to it with an apology. Was weak and he didn't take full accountability for intentional lies.

Ive gone over this before.

I got like 2nd to last pick of assignments after being enumerated #1 of 6 and #1 of 8 majors at my job in Germany. I got assigned at Ft Polk. That year we conducted ZERO ranges, as a cav squadron, but managed FOUR transgender sensitivity sessions. We were the JRTC taskings brigade. The Brigade just got back from the afganistan withdrawal. And life there was shit. We got our training calendar dumped and picked up the summer cadet training mission in Ft knox. Yay babysitting college kids. It was on the drive up there my wife sent me a picture of my kid learning to ride his bike. That one crushed me. I could not stomach being the absent dad but the company man anymore.

I called and asked her how angry she would be if we accelerated plans and got out. Losing tricare and pension for life? Big decision. But if you are only staying in a shit job for a pension you gotta ask yourself if it's worth it.

I don't need the money. I'm set because we were DINK for decades and I got lucky with MSFT stock on my first deployment.

You're intent on spinning me up. But I'm on dubbs and I gotta just ride it out. Going after somebody's service is just a dick move when you have absolutely no evidence.
