Right wingers will, of course, talk about their desire for "small government", but that's clearly bullshit, and we all know it. They have no problem with the increase of funding to the American Gestapo (ICE). What that mean when they talk about "small government" is cutting anything that strengthens the hand of the working class. What they really want is an entrenched aristocracy, and to remove any means the masses have to destroy it.

Honestly, I think all the sincere "small government" conservatives have probably abandoned the GOP by now. I've said it before, but it bears repeating: all libertarians eventually become anarchists or fascists. The freedom that right wing "small government" types advocate for isn't the freedom of the working class. It isn't freedom of travel, or freedom of expression, or freedom of association, or freedom from want. It's the freedom of the ruling class to exploit, and to grind the workers to powder under their bootheels. It's not "freedom" at all. It's the perpetuation of mastery and slavery.

Yeah, rich libertarians want "freedom" to exploit and grow their businesses even more.

Middle-class libertarians want "freedom" to pay less taxes.
