So if the price is the same its because its from stock already in US.

The tariffs will take a while to funnel through before we start to see the economy slowing me thinks.

- Reduction in world trade
- Increase the cost of living, especially in the USA (tariffs are a sales tax, consumer will pick up the prices)
- Consumption will stagnate

My question still stands, how does the American consumer benefit? Many American products are already 15% worse and now our manufacturing can be 15% lazier. At the same time we get a 15% extra tax on anything we buy from the EU.

How does the US consumer benefit?
