He might turn out decent, but honestly I doubt it unless he starts improving drastically and stops getting injured. He only fights once a year against guys with 1 fight.

Few more Brazilian heavywieght's to keep an eye on, all very early in their career though:

Francisco Da Silva Bezerra 5-0 - http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Francisco-Sandro-da-Silva-Bezerra-144105
*Wallyson Carvalho 4-0 - http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Wallyson-Carvalho-157811
Rodrigo Ferreira 3-0 - http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Rodrigo-Nascimento-Ferreira-97975
Leandro Xavier 3-0 - http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Leandro-Xavier-109121
Luiz Carlos 3-0 - http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Luiz-Carlos-76852
Bruno Wolverine 2-0 - http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Bruno-Wolverine-151675

*Wallyson Carvalho made the drop to LHW in his last fight.

What weight u doing enxt ?

Heavyweight forever. :)

To keep on top of nearly all the up and coming fighters in a division it takes alot of my time, so I'll continue to do heavyweight indefinitely.

Dr. Glaze has a good thread on Unsigned Light Heavyweights however.

The UFC has released Geronimo Dos Santos, which means in addition to other loses at HW, they are down to 32 fighters. If their cap is give or take 35, here's some ideas for fighters on this list who are both ready to fight in the UFC and unrestricted free agents that could sign with the UFC immediatly.

Konstantin Erohkin
Ion Cutelaba
Cody East
Arsen Abdulkerimov
Denis Goltsov
Grabowski vs Tybura winner (pending contract completion)

I feel like people have been less inclined to work with Cody East for his past transgressions. I haven't heard anything about him getting in trouble lately though.

The curious case of Geronimo, gets signed 2 years ago, find out you have Hep B, try to heal up for 2, then ask for your release before your last test and before you even get to fight. The UFC needs to step it up with the heavyweights, and the light heavies too for that matter. I know both divisions are shallow, but it could be better than what's going on now. Also, appreciate the shoutout! :)

Morgan and Cleckler are really getting spoon-fed. Jon Hill isn't a bad opponent for Beast Boy though.

of this list i see erohkin being most likely because of his connection with fight nights. followed by abdulkerimov because he last fought at ring of honor and I assume he must have an association with the k-dojo guys.

could the winner of grabowski and tybura really be picked up by the ufc without resistance from m-1? I thought that fight was for the title and even if its the last fight on their contracts, m-1 would probably play some 1 year matching period shenanigans.

Marcin fucking Tybura.

That is all.

Get this kid Stateside ASAP

Tybura made Grabowski look like a 15 year old who just stepped into the gym. I'm honestly shocked how dominant he looked against someone who's only ever lost once to Cole Konrad.

Time to sign with a big promotion, and if he still has fights left on his M-1 contract, Sergei would be a very very favorable matchup he could win to peak his stock. As long as he can clinch up with Sergei, the submission would be easy due to Sergei primarily focusing on standup lately.

I would rather him fight Sergei considering; 1. M-1 Challenge 53 is a little under a month away, and i'm sure Tybura would be ok with the quick turnaround. 2. Sergei is already training for a grappler. 3. Sergei vs Tybura is a much better fight, as a win over Cro Cop should get Ishii signed anyway.

Imagine having back to back wins against Grabowski and Kharitonov? Talk about a great resume.

No! No tybura vs Sergei, or either vs Ishii. I can't take any of them losing. Unless it's in one of the top 3 promotions and it had to happen

Better than the other recently signed heavyweights.

I want to see Sergei fight for a major promotion as much as the next guy, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Sadly if he doesn't sign with anyone major, he has to fight scrubs, prospects, or other guys on the outside looking in.

I can see Sergei coming to bellator with Coker on board! Also allowing him to fight for glory! But he needs to beat ishii in m1 china first

Not really prospect news but Ryan Martinez vs Josh Appelt at Bellator 126 looks like they are really looking to weed out that HW divison. Same with the Butler vs Ayla fight
Another fight they should make is Augusto Sakai vs Freddie Aquitania

Also Adrian Henderson vs Leeroy Johnson. Thoughts on these guys?

I agree tybura looked like a monster! I hope he moves to a bigger promotion!

I'll say if he has 1 fight left him vs smoldarev
