I wish Adrian Henderson were younger. I think he got robbed in his only Bellator fight, he should be 9-0 now.

I'm liking Hardy as a prospect. Legacy should do a Hardy vs Odoms rematch, I think Hardy will be able to avenge that loss.

Would be great to have an update of all the weekends action with wins and losses in a similar format.

Sorry, I don't really contribute to this thread (I just enjoy it) and I'm not saying you should put more time in than you already do, just think it would be cool to see a recap of the fights

In the next few months, 4 out of the 5 profiled amateurs on my list will be making pro debuts!

Some are transitioning too early, some are transitioning at the right time, however we're going to see an influx of high potential North American heavies again after a recent dry spell.

Also as a side note, Tai Tuivasa is making his return to heavyweight MMA from a long detour in kickboxing, boxing, and super heavyweight fights. He will fight fellow Australian prospect Ben Sosoli for the AFC heavyweight title on June 18th. If he wins I will definitely be adding him to the main posts. I just hope he sticks with MMA and gets 2 more fights in this year.

Thailand's premier mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion returns on June 4th with Full Metal Dojo (FMD) 10: "Sweep all the Legs" set for the Insomnia Nightclub in Bangkok.

The organization's tenth card will feature two big heavyweight fights with Phuket-based Iranians Amir Aliakbari and Masoud Ranjbar both in action against English opponents. They are both FMD veterans who are based full time at Mike Swick's AKA Thailand camp.

Ranjbar (2-0) is going up against Steve Murphy (2-1) who will be competing in MMA for the first time since 2008. He has participated in some caged kickboxing bouts during this period but faces a tough test against an Iranian with a background in both boxing and wrestling.

Ranjbar is already a veteran of two FMD fights. In 2014 he claimed a hard fought decision win over French Muay Thai practitioner Yoann Gouiada and the following year the Iranian needed less than a round to take out Polish heavyweight Andrzej Kulik.

Also on the card will be Ranjbar's team mate and training partner Aliakbari (2-0). He's a former wrestling world champion who has been handed the hardest test of his pro career to date with a matchup against English heavyweight Jamie Sloane (5-1) .

Unfortunately it looks like Amir is out due to passport/visa issues. :(

James Mulheron will fight Mark Godbeer on Bellator's London card in July. Quick turnaround from his fight against Stuart Austin this weekend!

Hopefully Mark wins this weekend. I'm also curious if Bellator has offered either of them full contracts, since they are a higher level of fighter they normally put on as ticket drivers.

Is the guy he was scheduled to fight any good? Would like to see Amir tested a bit more.

He's a natural LHW, but his skill level is a small step up from what Amir has fought thus far. Amir would have had a 40 pound weight advantage on him though, couple that with Amir's wrestling and it would have likely ended up with a ground and pound first round victory.

That's a solllliid fight between UK HWS! Great addition to the card. I'm siding with Godbeer for the BAMMA show, so he should be coming into the fight with a win over Austin, either he adds James to his streak.... or JM gets his biggest win yet. Basically whoever wins is a legit guy in the division, definitely worth a proper contract. I think both are better than the opponents that Sergei and Meathead are fighting anyway.

I really need to get tickets for this show, I've had friends show an interest in going bc of Kimbo, and now the card is getting really good for the MMA nerd in me.

I can't believe Bellator will put two decent guys against each other lol
Mulheron was very overrated in M4TC, we are going to see if he is legit or not

Few journeyman / fairly irrelevant HW results from this past weekend, I stumbled across....

Jon Hill beat Kevin Sears, to move to 10-4.
Sandro Bezerra moves to 8-1 with a win over Silmar Rodrigo.
Cody Griffin returned from a long time away from the game, beating someone or other to move to 8-3.

Really excited over Godbeer and Austin, Godbeer's Bellator return may hinge on a win. Aspinall's fight is interesting as well, I thought the loss to Austin was a one off due to inexperience. We'll see how he does.

Ledet needs to be at 205 though, not sure how a natural 185'er is going to look at heavyweight. He's a boxer and so is Brice, so it should be a good striking match anyways.

Van Zyl vs Kowalkowski is another good under the radar scrap. Guessing the winner will fight Danie Van Heerden to clear up the EFC heavyweight picture after Asker's departure. EFC has some interesting regional amateurs who have gone pro, like Mostert who fights on that same card today, and Gary Smit.

Finally, Denzel Freeman is an amateur to watch. NAIA runner up in wrestling at heavyweight, trains at the Blackzillian's. Not sure if he'll go LHW or stick with HW since he's a lighter heavyweight, but he's a great prospect regardless.

I'm on the fence with Teed, he looks decent, but competition is a factor. We'll see how he does as he works his way up in CFFC. He is worth keeping an eye on though.

REAL says Amir Aliakbari will fight with Carlos Toyota in October.
