Unsigned Heavyweights - Thread Four

Junior Albini, a replacement for Fernando Rodrigues, KO's Thiago Cardoso in round 2. Albini will be doing 205 in the near future, but he is still a good prospect at that weight.

Cardoso fails the undefeated heavyweight from Brazil test. Ukraine and Brazil are two places where guys seem to get up to like 10-0 at heavyweight against really bad competition then drop tons of fights once they move up a level.

With the win against Prindle I wonder if Bellator has any interest in Buentello he kind of fits the mold of what they want... hes a name that fought for the UFC title... hes older so their current stars can beat him... and hes got a higher ranking then most of their current fighters...

Good fight!

Maybe have Rama fight the winner if he signs with WSOF-GC.

Mayes vs Adams is a killer fight, looking forward to seeing Dontale get to 2-0.

Also as a side note, Christian Colombo has signed with the UFC and will face Jarjis Danho.

There's several other guys I'd rather see before Colombo, but he's a nice dude and I'm glad he made it to the big show.

I quite like the Colombo signing - more depth to the HW division and he is solid enough, will probably stick around. Probably takes out Danho if he survives the initial onslaught. Shame it's another HW closer to 40 than 30 though!

Sergey pavlovich 7-0 vs chaban Ka 8-4 added to Fight nights June 17th

Sergey pavlovich 7-0 vs chaban Ka 8-4 added to Fight nights June 17th

Ka won't be able to get past Pavlovich's wrestling, and he's going to get demolished on the feet. I'll never complain about Pavlovich getting rounds in though, good experience for him.

I don't see Colombo lasting long in the UFC, but good luck to him. Danho is definitely beatable.

Hopefully Pavlovich gets a call-up after beating Ka.

Dontale Mayes had a tough championship fight against Arnold Adams, both really good strikers rocking each other throughout 5 rounds. In the end though Mayes heart and cardio prevailed and he TKO'd Adams after 22 minutes.

Daniil Arepyev vs. Anton Vyazigin at M-1 Challenge 68

Smart move for M-1 to give Arepyev a chance, they should sign him afterwards to get more new blood with strong potential in their HW division.
