Crime United Healthcare CEO assassinated in NYC

And those people are already on medicaid, and medicaid costs $9500/enrollee, which would come out to $3.3 trillion/year for everyone to be forced onto medicaid. For reference, the entire tax receipts were $4.4T last year, so medicaid for all, and the entire rest of the government would have $1.1T to operate before they turn the money printer back on and inflate the shit out of currency again.
or they could, idk, regulate the pricing structure of medical providers and facilities.

if only we had the key to what those numbers mean

It's hard to see for whatever reason in the picture, but in black font on the left is the categories for the rankings.

Same with the bottom row which is basically just saying USA spends about at least double per capita to everyone else just to finish dead last in the rankings.

add this to your post man.

Key Findings: "The top-performing countries overall are Norway, the Netherlands, and Australia. The United States ranks last despite spending far more of its gross domestic product on health care. The U.S. ranks last on access to care, administrative efficiency, equity, and health care outcomes, but second on care process measures."

The key findings per Ben Shapiro:

"U.S. has the best heath care system in the world. It is among the very best on care process measures, and has better wait times than Canada. People say Norway has a good system, but it's obviously not true, as self care is horrible! Plus, if you have anal cancer, we have the highest rate of beating it for people between the ages of 55-60 and that weigh approximately 152 pounds."

That sounds like Ben Shapiro was lying because the link you sent me to said the United States has some of the worst healthcare in the world on nearly every metric.

Undocumented immigrants aren't getting the same care as everyone else, but if it makes you feel better providing them with a modicum of healthcare is LESS EXPENSIVE than what happens when you dont. You know almost every single-payer system in the World that exists had the support of conservatives in the various Governmente, right? The reason is because it's cheaper. The moment they saw that, they were in. If it's cheaper (it is) and people are still upset, that's because they just hate the idea of people they dont know or like, or rather people they think arent like them, getting it.
Yeah, social programs generally save money, at least all the ones I can think of. Dealing with a lack of safety net is costly, never mind the human cost. They also keep society much more stable

LMAO spending endless money on people who should not be in the country saves money to Leftists. Can't fix stupid

Yes, that is what you're asking for. If they're operating on a 3% profit margin WITH denials, then they obviously can't remove them without running at a negative, so insurance premiums would have to go up considerably just to break even.
UHC made 20 billion dollars in profits 2022.

As to the rest of the world and those, “horrific “ conditions of their healthcare system, I never seem to find Europeans complaining about it and wishing that it was more like ours. I do often hear Americans bemoaning those systems on their behalf.

Taxes? The American people pay 1.5 trillion dollars in taxes towards the government paying for healthcare under the current system.

Right? I’m loving this limp dick attempt to slander him by showing him pounding a beer at a college party.
he's like the perfect guy this shooter could have been if you're anti-corporate or anti-capitalist. filthy rich, incredibly handsome, straight white moderate republican with political and corporate ties. everyone he's ever met has come out and said he's the coolest, nicest human being they know. every 2 hours, there's a new video of him saving a puppy from a flood, building a time machine, or having a great time with his family.

they literally have no ammo on this guy. if he was a leftist, a person of color, or even just poor, they could have just rubbed his name in the dirt easily. he legitimately seems to be like the coolest dude ever, who was way too smart for his own good and got radicalized from a very common american problem. i can't make anyone a folk hero myself, but this seems like the kinda guy that becomes one.

UHC aren't even the biggest profiteers. CVS Health, who of course now owns Aetna as well as thousands of doctors offices, rakes in more than that just quarterly. people love to downplay the profits by using the marginal percentage, when the raw numbers are astronomical.

it's a lot better to make 6% profit on $400B than 20% profit on $10M.

I know it's just twitter trolling, but I've seen some shockingly stupid people truly try to claim this.

He looks exactly the same as in the pictures. Shape of smile, dimples on corners of mouth, a particularly characteristic toothy smile, shape of chin, shape of nose, shape of brows, cheeks, etc:

Looks like a completely different guy to me, said the jury

The ceo also died with 40-50 million in his pockets

Yeah, must say, it's a sad state of affairs how folks became a bunch of fatties and we throw so much food in the trash.

If we are going to sin tax the shit out of booze and :eek::eek:s, maybe we need to think of taxing extremely poor nutritional 'food". Possibly a way to self-fund better healthcare.

Instead we get this bullshit body positivity imaging crap.

Also, I swear I have often mused if China deliberately engineered a virus in that Wuhan lab that would have a disproportionate effect on Americans than themselves. Like serious if you wanted to do that, how would you do it? Seems one of the best ways would be a virus that disproportionately harms fat people (I'd hazard to guess most do, but maybe you want one where the effect is particularly onerous). Corona supposedly had 3x the likelihood of hospitalization/death for obese people. Scary that an argument could be made that obesity rates are a matter of fucking national security.
Re: the bold text, I think this is ill-considered. These low nutrient foods tend to be the cheapest and foods that poor people unfortunately rely on so raising prices really just hurts them without giving them an alternative. One main reason there are so many fat people is they're eating what they can afford.
