News UFC Signs 7-Year, $7.7 Billion Dollar Deal for All US Rights to UFC's Product - PPV Model is Done with Events on CBS. (Details Inside)

Wow.
So all you can watch at $100 per year? Or just get the free fights?

Amazing win for fans and exposure of the sport.

I assume the fighters won't make any more, but still a huge win for existing fans and future new fans.

That’s great, but I can already see my local team.
It’s the numerous out of market games that I want access to.
Why is the Midwest the only damn region in this country that stopped showing Blues, Cubs, Cards Shithawks <BlackPinkStab> You have to have fanduel now to watch because no local channels carry them.

The annual cost of Paramount+ premium is $119.
I was paying around that for ESPN+ so if I keep both, it’s still not prohibitive.
Like I said, I literally have to move the piles of cash away to get to my front door.

Paramount+ is available in the UK, but historically the UFC has done seperate deals in the UK, such as with BT Sports etc.

I wonder if you get it with P+ in the UK too.

Highly doubt it, they still have a contract with TNT Sports. Which isn't so bad when you have a dodgy fire stick. I get every sports channel free.

Now that’s some bullshit.
Speaking of the Midwest, I was born in Missouri but haven't been back in forever.
The Bay Area broadcasts all Warriors, A's, Giants and Sharks games for free on basic cable,
so I guess I shouldn't complain.

The UFC finally realized they weren't going to beat the streamers. No one in their right mind is going to pay $80 for the trash they've been putting on PPVs lately.

More than happy to finally be able to drop my ESPN+ subscription.

Paramount+? That platform is totally dead outside the US and was on its knees in the US too weren't it?

So ONE FC getting deals with Amazon, and Netflix doing Jake Paul and other boxing. UFC gets on Paramount+ 😆😆

Yeah shame on Paramount for trying to compete and grow. They should just fucking die. Right?

You cheap cans who cried for years can now get access to UFC's PPVs for the starting price point of $7.99.

If any of you cans have complaints about this, you're basically a woman, lol.

They're even putting events on CBS. What a time to be alive!

This deal sucks, we should get paid to watch the fights.

You’ve become a hot chick gif av guy now? smh

As a MMA fan, this might be the single best news that's happened to this sport as a consumer since the UFC was able to put on cards more than once every few months during the dark ages and had to pay to get half numbered events on SpikeTV. I could not be happier. Legitimately brought a smile to my face reading this news as is.

But, people are still crying. This place is hilarious.

Suredawg gonna Suredawg.
Agreed; this is the most excited about mma I’ve been in years. I’ve completely fallen away since espn took over. The roster is still way too bloated but this is a great start.
