I'm looking forward to it. I think it'll definitely be a big moment in MMA history. I just hope the card itself lives up to the rest of it. Shit better be dream fight/big fight galore and not just standard UFC fare.

I'm glad to see others whitepilling for the event. So many negative nancies, I want to see the greatest card in history, America deserves it for her birthday.

I'm pretty sure TKO will take the hit as the advertising spots will be the most expensive in sports history outside of a super bowl or world cup. Dumping $50 million into the event would still come up a net positive.

I'll still say it. UFC 300 was pretty weak in comparison to 100 and 200. I'll be shocked if the UFC can deliver a real headliner of a fight everyone wants. If they couldn't get 300 down last year with anything crazy, I don't have faith they will do deliver.

UFC seems to only deliver random ass fights because they don't want the top guys to take a L. If we go by UFC 300 format...
1. Some popular male champ (Islam, Topuria, Khamzat, Pereira) vs a normal title defense.
2. WMMA championship fight no one cares about
3. Some made up BMF, shocked they didn't put Max vs Olivera there.

..... Fill the rest of the card with ex champs and up and comers and call it a day.

Love it or hate it, it's crazy how far MMA has come. I remember when the Showtime kick made the Sportscenter top ten and I couldn't believe ESPN was actually acknowledging MMA. Now here we are.
