UFC Ring Girl Luciana Andrade is a Lawyer

You've never been to LA have you?

The LA Brea Tar Pits are like 20 fucking miles from Compton, which is 45 mins to 2 hours away depending on the time of the day.

1-2 miles in Los Angeles is far due to density, but you're stretching. Obviously you're just some dumb fucking tourist spouting their mouth cause you were an idiot and stayed in Hollywood.
Born in San Diego, probably have driven there from San Jose in the triple digits and have spent years living down there. I got it mixed up with south central

Oh yeah South Central is a shithole, but surprisingly getting better as it gets gentrified. LA as a whole is a shithole now though, so glad I'm separated and in the SGV.

Everybody is a lawyer in Brazil. It’s not a graduate degree, you can go to “law school” straight out of high school, and it’s easy to get accepted in some school in your city
Same with Mexico, all the basic broads who want to social climb are "licenciada's". Is normel; however, Luciana has a legit Masters in Law from USC, this is legit. I always thought Law was an 8 year degree similar to a Doctorate.

You mean it isn’t better cuz the city council changed the name to south Los Angeles?

“The Los Angeles City Council votes to change the name of the neighborhood known as South Central to South Los Angeles. Residents say they want a new identity for the area, one that erases its image as a place of riots, poverty and gang violence. NPR's Rachael Myrow reports.”

A law degree is an undergrad degree in most countries. That’s what he means and he’s right.

regardless of the career you choose in Brazil, you go straight from high school if you pass a test (sat like or specific to the college you want to go, there is no application procedure, etc).

But it is true. There are more law schools in Rio de Janeiro state than all of Italy. Most dont pass the bar later, though.

Lots of brazilian lawyers, judges and prosecutors apply for LLMs in the US every year. In some states you can take the bar test after (New York, for example).

I do feel dumb now lol I'll admit that, I thought south central=compton cus the lyrics from straight out of Compton made it seem that way

When somethin' happens in South Central, Los Angeles
Nothin' happens. It's just another :eek::eek::eek::eek: dead (dead)

You know the process because you are going to do something?

I know the process because I went through the process of applying and getting admitted into a Bachelors of Law (LLB) program. We are talking about her getting a Masters of Law. To get this, you need to get admitted into the program. The criteria for LLB is much more strict than many Masters of Law programs. Alot of times, international students with law degrees from their home countries do not meet the criteria for a LLB. So they settle for a Masters of Law to circumvent the more strict criteria of a LLB. It sounds prestigious, but many times it is not. Sadly, many law schools accept these international students into their Masters programs because they can charge them a hefty tuition.

This article explains it:

Posted on her Twitter today. Apparently she earned a law degree in Brazil and just finished another one here in the U.S. I’ve always been a Carly Baker guy, but may now have to reconsider my choice of GOAT ring girl.

Do you even read lol. It literally says she got degree from USC in first post not in Brazil ffs
The SC degree is an llm...I guess technically a law degree, but the jd programs are much more competitive to get into then the LLM.

The only LLM that makes any sense to get in my opinion is probably in taxation.

I didn’t know USC was in Brazil
She has a masters in law. You need a juris doctor to be a lawyer and then pass the bar. She has a few years left to become a lawyer.

But totally awesome she is pursuing a dream and will get there.

It’s in South Central Los Angeles. Which is interesting enough. Expensive private university in a neighborhood so shitty they changed the name of the city.

Its in Olympic Park area, South Central is a huge land mass in the LA area...USC area is pretty nice (especially for LA), I live in it. Way nicer than East LA or most of Downtown LA. It has a college town vibe around it, lots of parties, colllege houses, frat houses, diverse area, trendy places, museum's, parks etc. Its not the place you're worried about drivebys or anything.

Masters of Law is quite different from a Bachelors of Law. Maybe she didn't have to write the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test) to earn that. She just used her law degree credentials from Brazil which wouldn't have the same pedigree as a law degree from North America.

For example, in Australia, you don't need to do an LSAT to get into law school. Basically anyone with a undergrad and the money can get into their law program. That's where all the dumbasses with money that can't get a good LSAT score go.

Likely what happened is she used her law degree from Brazil, blowed some UFC executives to get good references, and her experience as a international model working for a world wide company to get into the Masters of Law program.

What I will say is, the ranking of the school she got her masters from is quite high. I was expecting out of the top 20, but USC Law is ranked 19. So you go girl! Atleast now, she won't have to give too many bloweys.

Actualy it is very difficult to get admitted in the law faculty of an Australian University with regards to the entry marks requirement- I believe it is second only to the entrance scores needed for the medical faculty.

Good for her! I wonder if she got into law for the hung jury?

Lmao... maybe for Australians. But not having to do the MCAT or the LSAT to get in to Medicine or Law school is huge. For University of Adelaide, international students can get admitted straight from High School.

In Canada and the U.S any decent law school requires an undergrad degree and a good LSAT score.
