Is guiding the head directly like that not a case of spiking? Genuinely curious

I think that the rule is that even if it is technically a spike they don't call it a foul if it's done to escape a submission attempt. The theory is that if the other fighter doesn't realize what's happening and release his hold to prevent it, welp, that's on him.

I don't know about you guys but I just loveeeeee slam finishes, something about them look so awesome, I think its the impact of them and also they are quite rare, so its always so awesome when it happens. LOVE IT

But seriously, at some point Kazama needed to realize going for the sub was only getting him punished more and get back up. It wasn't just the slam, he was opening himself up for shots to the face for at least 2 minutes straight before that.

I've noticed that happens a lot these days. It seems unless a fighter is an absolute ace on the ground, going for creative subs from the bottom is an inferior choice compared to sweeping or scrambling back up.

Beautiful timing, although I reckon @helax probably tapped him with a triangle choke from guard, its a well known fact Kowboy has 30 seconds of gas, possibly 32 seconds on a good day.
Nah... Just had my morning protein shake and Monster
