I remember that fight where one guy bit the other. Admittedly, a dumb move, but after the fact, he told this ref the guy was fouling him somehow and it was easily visible (glove or fence grab or something). Other than addressing that foul as well, the ref goes "But does that make it ok?" like he's a tired schoolteacher mediating a playground conflict.
