UFC ON ESPN 70 underdog pick of the night

100% agree. Truly big and athletic guys at HW are literally by default top 10 these days. And then you get an outlier like Aspinall who's naturally big enough to be a HW (if he REALLY wanted to be super lean he could probably cut to like 220...but no point since he's not making LHW anyway) but moves like a WW and still has HW power. No wonder nobody makes it out of rd 1, he's a unicorn in a division of mostly donkeys.

Almeida is probably the best example. He could definitely make 205 but he's figured out he's big enough to still use his superior grappling to toss around fatties and get wins at HW easily enough so why bother cutting?
Tom aspinall doesnt move like a ww I'm so sick of people regurgitating marketing....

He moves like a quick Heavyweight... he's slower than prime Cain handspeed and footwork wise... he's probably about the same speed as Stipe when he was champ and beat Francis....

Tom is a good fighter but he's not even the best HW we have seen let alone a damn unicorn

Well first of all, last I checked hyperbole isn't some massive crime. I'm not "regurgitating" anything. When I say Ilia Topuria "hits like a truck" do you think I mean he actually hits like a big ass Chevy Silverado?

Second, not sure what to tell you but you're just wrong. Aspinall is faster than prime Cain or Stipe. Especially his hand speed. You'll deny it, I'll say you're wrong, probably no point debating it because se won't change each other's minds.

Aspinall IS a unicorn when it comes to raw physical ability. Again, no point debating because we won't sway each other at all. But I will say that just because he has the physical skills to do it, that doesn't make it a guarantee he goes down as an all time great. He still has plenty of work to do.
