UFC On ESPN 12: Poirier vs. Hooker

I also threw 5 bucks on Erosa at +385 because I thought he looked good at the weigh ins, plus, I don't believe Woodson deserves to be the biggest favorite on the card, he doesn't seem impressive enough to be -500 against anybody. Probably not many Erosa backers here I would imagine

I’m positive in live betting. Prebets usually don’t work out nearly as well.

Villante looks so bad at weigh ins that I have to fade him. He already has a poor gas tank at LHW, it will only be worse based on how much body fat he is now carrying.
dont forget he lost to sam alvey in 2018

Not really sure, but I find it especially useful whenever someone is moving up or down a weight class, again, its not a science, but it definitely helps to rationalize your decisions sometimes. Now watch, Villante will come out and Roy Nelson Greene in the first minute...
villante round 1 is +1100 easy hedge for green finish imo

I agree with the kicks to the nuts (smart strategy), but biting? That does absolutely nothing to improve your chances of success while risking a possible DQ loss.

Notice I specifically said nut kick (eye poke would apply as well, so would a fence grab to prevent a take down) and we that unanimously there’s only a meaningless warning for the first offense. Not near the sample size of biting in fight being only a warning. So don’t chance that one

May as well make use of that freebie, is all I’m saying

That's impressive but let's not forget that Ryan wasn't Ryan back then, he had only been training for 3 years in 2015, he would absolutely destroy Gall now...

Of course, but Ryan was still a BEAST in relative terms. He was coming off subbing Keenan Cornelius ffs. Ryan wasn't what he is now, but he was already among the best in the world for guys his size. Which means Gall was an elite no gi grappler relatively speaking considering how competitive the match was.

Umm...Jason Witt? Anyone ahh...know anything about this kid?

Of course but I just wanted to keep things in perspective.

Aside from Gordon's skills improving at a crazy level, he could probably throw Gall across the room after the physical...transformation.

He's a wrestler mostly, trains with James Krause at glory I think tho so maybe his stand up has improved since the last time I seen him fight. If it hasn't he's getting KO'd, if it has I think he has a better chance than Sato's last opponent did

Man I know people think Perry is just gonna knock Gall's head off but for some reason I'm just not seeing it. I favor Perry, I like him to win (though his ML is WAY too juiced) but I think it's gonna look a bit more similar to Perry vs Brazilian Cowboy but likely with Gall landing less than Oliveira did.

I'm playing Perry decision +424 to go along with NOT Perry itd at +165.

Maybe I'm way off and Perry smokes him, but Gall is a tough kid with a good chin and has the luxury of pulling guard/flopping to his back if he needs to. I'm sure he trusts his guard plenty against Perry.

Judging from his interview Gall seems improved mentally, and I think he knows the type of fight he has to fight to get a win. He also made a good point, he's still improving. He's barely had any fights, so he could always get better. He also said he thinks Perry has regressed which is at the very least, interesting to think about. I think Gall shocks the world and gets a win.

I'm not counting him out at all. If he gets it to the mat, it's his world.

Whoa...Maurice green by sub is +1450 on dimes. He has 2x more subs then KOs and fatboy villante hardly looks like a cardio machine on the scale today..hammered it into a few parlays. Villantes never been subbed but I expect him to be huffing and puffing by round 2

Down to +950 in an hour....this may have been the first time I moved a line haha

Wrestle boxer out of Glory MMA, decent all around point fighter with no power. He's pretty neat on the feet with his stance shifting, but his defense suffers cause of it. He seems particularly open to SPs, and Sato is mostly a left straight.

Sato's -270 justified?

Galls guard is nothing special. Brown, Salim, and IIRC Northcutt all had success from top. Perry is the better wrestler and I'm not worried about him following Gall to the mat. Sickness vs Sanchez aside, Gall still gassed pretty bad vs one of the lowest paced fighters in Salim. Backtake or bust imo.
