He shifts his body to his right to avoid the overhand right and comes across with the knee, it's not quite straight. Very effective

I'm gonna expect him to get KO'd doing that soon. I think he does it too often, it's a little too predictable, but I'm not saying it's not effective. It worked tonight.

... Did he? He had a good 1st round and got one good shot in at the beginning of the 3rd, the rest of the fight he was gassed and didn't do anything
He nearly finished RDR and it was a VERY CLOSE fight where that 5th round could have went either way.

Robert was looking at that clock the whole time like he is waiting to retire. Maybe that's it for him

Good score and decision. Shows even judges had it as a toss up. Better RDR wins, looks like he has more in his tank. Still needs to work on his standup. Barely scraped by this one.
He did just fight arguably one of the best strikers at 185 who can also wrestle...

Whittaker was probably his worst match up in the division and he got the nod in a way that would work against both DDP and Khamzat(heavy body work and knees)

You legitimately can’t point to anything RDR did to win rounds
Huh? He landed brutal knees and punches and had Rob hurt multiple times throughout the fight. Also outgrappled him. Round by round RDR won and if you scored the fight as a whole RDR won.

We're back to scoring like it's 2006 again....Lay n pray/Wall n Stall js beating out damage.

It really does feel like MMA is on the decline, honestly it has for a couple years now.

Splity City.

Dricus or Khamzat would run over either of these unfortunately.

RDR needs another fight first.
The Fluffy/Dolidze winner would make a lot of sense if Imavov/Caio is #1 contender.

However Khmazat wins a close FOTY contender vs DDP I could see them running that back. MW pretty interesting right now.

Bobby should take a couple lesser fights - not sure if he's got that in him as a competitor - and look to step away. He's a great personality and person as an ambassador for MMA. He'll find a job easy.
