If Van can defend tske downs be a great fight . If he cant it will be slightly more competitive than this last fight. Maybe.

Been a fan of Oliveira since his debut against Elkins fuckin 15 years ago now. Hard to cheer against him.

His coach always says that Pantoja only would go Batamweight if he finishes his reign in FLW (putting all the rubies on the belt) and puts a proper weight to finish his career there trying the second belt.
(Or if the UFC offered a truckload of money that Pants couldnt say no)
if he properly bulked up, I suppose so. Everyone cuts an arm and a leg to make whatever weight they fight at though.

If Ilia finishes Charles I think he'd be the most hated champ in terms of finishing fan favorites consecutively. Volk, Max, Charles are 3 of the most beloved fighters.

Last streak of finishing beloved ex champs like that was probably when Jon finished Shogun, Rampage and Lyoto in a row.

Did you see/hear Theo Vaughn get a bigger pop immediately after Cowboy got next to nothing?

The pitiful state of this Org.

And the casuals.

I don't think so to be honest. The kid is 23. He still has an invincible chin, and with his speed it is going to be hard to wrap him up. I think Pantoga gasses by round 3.
Van is gonna be champ one day, but Pantoja is too much for him at the moment, he is not ready for it

He has a punchers chance and that's it

He's already 35, though.
That's old for a flyweight, so he should slow down soon.
Watch him now slow down soon, bro first it was 31, then 33, now 35, what’s next 37? I think it’s about time people just fucking admit, that elite fighters can still be competitive post mid to late thirties, motherfuckers here discard fighters way too quick after a loss in their 30’s, those PrideFC fan girls set that notion of fighters being out their primes once they lost, instead of just admitting the better fighter won.

I’m torn on who I want to win the main event.

His wrestling and BJJ are of the elite variety and the way he chains his striking to his grappling is also elite. Van is going to get tested for sure.
