Mexican Americans are overrepresented in the United States Marine Corps, and make up a majority of the US Border patrol. They are very well represented in Texas law enforcement.

From my experience they are serious Roman Catholics and look down on laziness. They are also tough as fuck.

Yeah that's Mexican Americans I'm talking about actual Mexicans .

But that is very true the military predominantly recruits from lower income communities, many which are of Mexican decent, same with border patrol , it can be ideological , it can also be a way to make money, such materialist conversations are what's actually interesting to talk about in my opinion, not these weird buzz words and media driven culture war generalizations.

Majority are indeed Catholic though, I even knew a Mexican trans women who was very Catholic.
