Surprised how many are on gall, is it purely a price thing? I’m not a fan of randy brown but at least his wins are against people with better than 0-0 records (forget northcutt he’s like a fish out of water on the ground)

need to watch it again but i remember thinking Zahibi lost that fight.. stats seems to suggest so too he was outstruck 64-44 and 0-2 in takedowns
Same his output was shit and had me shitting myself as I had him in an acca. He looked pretty shit and was dancing around like he was 2 rounds up easy

I'm trying to practice my early odds capping with Ramos-Zahibi and slightly lean Zahibi based on their debuts. What's your take on this fight?

I think people need to realize that Tanaka is a tougher fight than Vieira. Ramos almost losing as a slight dog to a guy like Tanaka is a lot different than Zahabi not winning easily as a moderate favorite to Vieira.

But in regards to the matchup, I think Ramos is arguably better everywhere. I feel he's the better finisher for sure. He packs more power standing and he can attack submissions well. I'd be surprised to see Zahabi win anything but a close decision to where I can see Ramos finishing or winning a more clear cut decision.

I've never been very impressed with Brown. I thought he looked bad against Montano until he caught the guillotine. If he looks like he did in Rd 2 vs. Montano when he faces Gall, he'll likely get owned on the ground. I definitely favor Gall here due to his grappling.

there is some GSP training footage (not alot) in this video for anyone who wants to watch

there is a short clip too in the embedded of him doing pad work with Roach

reasonable explanation bud, a pass from me just wanted to know the reasoning. Thanks!

Hmmm... I just did not like how Ramos looked after round 1. Early R2 he was clearly lumbering already and he looked dazed in lots of exchanges. Not dazed from punches but from pressure IMO. But I could be very off here. I just got a big win for betting Hermansson to crumble and might be seeing flakes everywhere.

I'd have to double check, but I'm pretty sure I bet Tanaka that fight. Honestly, I think Tanaka is a tough fight for Ramos. I don't see this as a similar matchup really. Zahabi isn't exactly a pressure fighter. Most of the action that I've seen from Ramos is where he ends early, so there is a possibility he just has a bad gas tank. I'll take that gamble though. I'd be very surprised to see Zahabi really take advantage of it and get a finish or win anything other than a close decision.

I think Duffy is a great striker and looks very talented too but I think any superlatives this point is a bit early. He's been a -500 favorite or more against almost all of his opponents except for Poirier because they threw the bottom level UFC fighters at him. So yeah he looks great demolishing bad strikers, but it's not like he was dominating Poirier in the standup either. He's not a great pocket boxer or comfortable in the clinch, doesn't like pressure, and his lead leg is there to be kicked. Fast hands, good combos, and good timing though. Yeah he should be the favorite here but -245 was a bit too wide, and the market seems to have agreed because he's back down to -175. I guess this is a good time to add on more if you're a Duffy backer.

Think this is exactly why he should be -200+ as Vick possesses none of the strengths that will give Duffy trouble.

Vick strikes at range, where duffy has much cleaner boxing, faster hands, and better combos. Vick doesn't have strong leg kicks, preferring to throw body and head kicks, and Duffy won't be shooting for tds or rushing into the clinch which negates his knees and chokes. Another thing is Vick doesn't pressure as he prefers to counter, but won't have the speed to counter Duffy's boxing consistenly. This will also make it difficult for him to win a dec as Duffy shoud be controlling the fight and throwing more volume. Sad already mentioned it also, but Vick doesn't shoot for tds and can't blend his grappling and striking like Poirier did to keep Duffy off balance. I expect Duffy to find his range and timing, get into a rythym that Vick will be unable to break, and go to work for a clear dec or KO.

Fwiw Brown had food poisoning either directly prior to or was still going through it for Montano fight.

Bit disappointed in Ion's price but man if someone is going to fight for your money to the death it's Cutelaba. I've been burned way too much recently betting against psycho pressure fighters. No more. The level of intensity he brings is off the charts.
lol sham I knew you'd approve of my Harris/Cutelaba parlay. Not thrilled about the price but I really don't see either guy losing. Still gutted Fury ruined JJ's line, would have taken -400

Yeah, I did not see a great killer instinct from Zahabi.

Same, also got blaydes. Struggling to see any losing and struggling to stop myself doing multiple parlays with them aha

So far:

Bisping: 25 returns 51
Harris+vick/Duffy O1.5 Drake:15 return:31.6
JJ blaydes Harris: 40 returns:76.81

I bet Harris over Beer when it was last scheduled. Prefer other spots here tho so will not be going big on Harris but will throw him in somewhere. Definitely interested in his KO line. Agreed re JJ -350/-400 i was all over her. I have doubled her with Bader who i got at -250 when she was -400.

Wtf is up with the Blaydes line? He's never beaten anybody as good as Oleynik and just looked mehhhh as -800 fave.

Oleynik may have issues with his wrestling but his KO'd Rosholt and also has dynamic submission game. Do ppl expect him to gas and get wrestlefucked to a decision loss?
