Really? I know Blaydes is a strong wrestler but Oleynik has like a million submissions...Blaydes hasn't been tested by nearly as good of a submission artist, not too hard to see him getting into trouble.

I really didn't like that East took Blaydes down twice and even Dan O hit a td in r3. He just couldn't scramble to top position before Blaydes managed to scramble up. Really surprised the line's so inflated.

I should note that I hit Blaydes at his opening -230 price. I am not touting a bet on him now near or above -400. Blaydes did pop right back up each time he has been taken down, but agree it is a bit worrisome. Cant ignore all of his advantages here though, plus there is a pretty easy hedge if you are really concerned.

If Blaydes gets Ezekiel choked from top position him and Pesta can headline some bum regional circuit in Russia.

If Borrachinha goes all out like his last fight round 1 and dosent finish big rig I see this fight becoming a sloppy mess favouring big rig.

Edit: I also like Vick to finish at +odds... I think he’s being under rated here.

I see Masvidal being a better finisher than Wonderboy.

I personally think Rose has a higher chance of finishing JJ in that she isn’t primarily a striker like most of JJs title defenses which favours JJ normally. Also Rose has a weird way of just finding the win.

I liked Cody at the -120 I got him at but think at -175ish now the fight is a pass.

I took bisping at +130 and was happy with it... but how’s bisping off his back? Anybody remember any fights I could watch tape on? There’s tons of speculation in this fight, so I’ll take the guy who’s had the resurgence, been active, is a weight class higher and is + odds.

If you wanna talk about your massive bets and ‘making 100k’ this year and expect people to respect you put your money were your mouth is and back up your claims. Corey could be a bit undervalued because he got smoked last fight. OSP could be a bit overvalued because he beat a guy that didn't look like he belonged in the cage.

When Corey gets his timing he can be hard to handle. And he could mix in takedowns

gsp has to replicate what tim kennedy did imo, otherwise he's fucked.

but gsp just isn't a natural middleweight, your body doesn't function the same holding an additional 15-20 pounds.

i know i'm much less agile when my weight is in the 190s compared to the 180s.

Bisping has a good guard. Not dangerous or offensive by any means but solid defensively. Retains guard really well and has good get ups.

Yea. Totally agree. I'm a natural 175/180 guy. I currently weigh 195/200 and the difference is incredible. I understand I'm not an elite athlete but I just think a guy like GSP is not meant to be at 185. Add in the little training tape we have where he just doesn't look fluid or explosive

I'm feeling Corey too. OSP isn't that good when he's not finishing guys who can't hang physically. And he has had bad times vs grapplers in the past like Bader + Teixeira. He can scramble back to his feet but his takedown D isn't taht good and I think Cody is going to bring this to the mat repeatedly and OSP is going to gas out at some point in round 2. If Cody can avoid the round 1 KO or another von flue he has a great shot of winning the decision IMO.

Kennedy is a huge 185er and was 100% on anabolic steroids. We saw how he looked post USADA. Bisping would have whooped him if they fought again.

Bisping also improved his takedown defence significantly after that fight, which you could see against CB. CB's striking sucks but he's a light heavyweight D1 wrestler, and the way Bisping stuffed the takedowns was impressive.

Bisping's defensive grappling is actually an underrated part of his game. Only subbed once in his entire career, and that was after eating a flush Rockhold head kick.
