Why are there so many guys in here talking about how great they are and how they make boat loads of cash. Some acting like 10s of thousands. Yet we never see a bet slip with an actual number.

Barry posts a god damn spread sheet with no figures. Enough Already guys! Stop pretending to be whales.
Yeah, I don't get this world either. The betting thread is all just text #, no betting slip and everyone got a 'like'. I like to see a bet slip before I put any weight on your opinion. All I hear is loud noise on their super duper lock pick but no bet slip. hmmmmm.

Roach is hardly a fraud, not going into that in an MMA thread but that accusation usually comes from people who can only name Pac as a boxer he's trained.

Anyway, I'm not saying GSP would be wise to try outbox Bisping by any means but at some point he's going to have to and having Roach advise you about your boxing and what you're doing right/wrong is a positive to me (yes I know this is MMA and not boxing), regardless of anyone else's view on Roach.

But like I said, he's obviously not going to be looking to trade in the pocket all night but he's not going to be landing takedowns at will so there will be numerous times he has to trade.

Roach ain’t no Edmund tho

I think the exact opposite. Roach is incredibly overrated. And read earlier in the thread where GSPs mentor talks of those around him.

Also, GSPs striking actually seemed to digress late in his career while he worked with roach as he adopted a more boxing centric style and abandoned much of his karate style.

Watch GSPs training vids at 185. He is not a boxer. Not at all. He is way to stiff and rigid to be boxing with a larger more powerful more fluid boxer

Edit. You saw the vids. Glad you saw what I saw. I don't like the way he looks at 185

gsp looked great against koscheck

all freddie is going to bring at this point is insight during the fight, what gsp can capitalize on, what is going to help win or lose him the fight during the five rounds

gsp is all of a sudden not going to become andre ward because freddie whispers something into his ear or does the pads with him

really a non-factor

juergen braehmer did not have his trainer in the corner with him against rob brant because he was at his daughters wedding

meant nothing

True and he didn’t have Borra down but like a sec.

Not to nitpick too much, but Bamgbose was completely gassed at he end of the first and he still was able to take Borra down with relative ease at about the 30 sec mark and he kept him down for around 20 secs. Borra was working his way back up as the round ended.

This fight is dog or pass for me. So many unknowns about Borra and Hendricks might be completely shot. I won't be surprised if Borra walks right through him or Hendricks is able to take him down and gas him out.

You are kinda proving my point. Not sure if u were trying to

Roach can not turn GSP into a boxer to beat Bisoing. He should be focusing on kicks and takedowns.

He used to kick the shit out of people. When he started relying more on boxing. He started eating shots

dont know why gsp is going to want to box with bisping.

that gsp skin is not made for taking too many strikes

That's what I'm saying. I just don't understand the focus on boxing and cartwheels here. Judging from his training vids I'm not sure he can even shoot a solid double

Masvidal NSC +153. Probably my only play on that fight

bisping has some scar tissue from both the hendo and anderson fights.

and gsp has shown a great 76 inch jab against koscheck that presumably was the cause of the fractured orbital bone

could easily see this as their reasoning to gsps path to victory.

open a cut with the jab affecting bispings vision

I love the way tj sets up his takedowns. He keeps you guessing. He worked lineker over so badly mixing it up like he did.

Garbrandt is quick and he has good reactions and timing. I think he’s gonna be able to stuff a majority of the takedowns and will land a bomb on tj.

Cody puts guys to bed. He’s gonna test tjs chin.

Probably the best fight on the card here

Yeah, despite my argument in favor of Dillashaw a couple pages back, this is where I've been at and still remain. I think the wrestling gets canceled out and it becomes a striking match with Cody having superior hands.

That TJ value right now though.....

If he can’t take down garbrandt there’s going to be a problem.

he cant outpoint cody?

throwing 400+ punches while cody throws 200, statistically it is very possible

and then theres garbradts back, a stiff jab can do a lot of damage to a back, and dillishaw has a very good jab

I know this was almost a week ago. But chael sonnen just said on a recent podcast that hes fought bisping and trained with GSP and he said GSP is stronger physically. Another interview he mention he was suprised how strong gsp feels on top and that hes stronger than LHW's hes wrestled

Another fighter anecdote that interested me was the blip by Rockhold where he said Bisping will run through GSP and is physically too big for him. There's no denying Bisping is a big dude if you've seen him in person.

The openers are hitting 5dimes right now. Duffy opened at -170 and within 60 seconds hit -260. Same with Cutelaba (-300 to -500).

Hit the Cutelaba under a bunch of times. Very bum move of Kalikas to open it at + odds when its easy money. Pass on everything else for now

5u Duffy -140 and 1u Cutelaba u1.5. Wish I did more on that under.

One of my bets
Joanna via decision
Thompson via decision

Neither is decision. That's both their ML

I Like Primm. Not as far of a drive and they have nice limits.

I hate that u can't parlay undercard fights though

Check out Rio. Rebel Lion was parlaying ML & O/U on the same fight

Not seeing why so much money's coming on Duffy. Vick's a legit LW and better than anybody Duffy's beaten. I really feel like we're not going to see Cody winning by decision due to the volume disparity in strikes, since Dillashaw has a lot more pop than Cruz who massively outlanded Garbrandt. I also don't trust TJ's chin if Cody starts connecting clean, so I think that there's a possible Cody-KO/TJ-ML split that's a free 1.4.
