I haven't been following these threads for a while now so I dont know who you are but I disagree with your opinion. I think Usman is a great fighter, I think Strikland is overrated. The only issue is, Usman can keep fights close and the judges can mess it up for him but Usman really should win this fight otherwise. People are betting on Usman for a reason son!
I suggest you change your opinion before a prime Tyson lands a left hook to your body followed by a nice left uppercut.
People always think there is confidence in numbers. The public will be betting Usman, the same people who fund the sportsbooks. The sharps will be on Strickland for the value, I expect late money to come in on Strickland.

I think Edwards is a better version of Strickland and look what happened there. Plus Usman HAS to be improving fight to fight, hes one of the best athletes in the UFC bar none. And also, Strickland stand up straight stance is going to make it easier for Usman to get deep on the hips.

In other words, I agree with crewman and would be shocked if Usman lost this fight.
I concur. Usman should win. Around -300 is about right. So anything less than that is definitely worth a play. Usman Dec @ -123 was the play to make. It's currently @ -155. Too expensive at current price.

Crewman is back? Wtf I must be late lol that is great.

inb4 Mousasi pulls out the day of the fight with chronic diarrhea after eating cinnamon rolls that hes never had before

Confidence increase Weidman

Whats the consensus on Cormier/AJ? I'm leaning Cormier (especially with his price improving), but has their been any red flags that I've missed? Been away on work so have been well out the loop

Ive been following and learning boxing bro. Fun sport. All these years Ive been betting on these fighters only to realize that I am a fighter myself, I have that fighting spirit inside of me the same way my wife has me inside of her every night.

tough fight to cap. On paper, Cormier is the better fighter but there's just something about AJ that makes me cautious with him, I predict a sad ending with this fight because I hate to see a good man get knocked out like Cormier.

Took dc by deciosion or tko +335

I think sub is likely but like the price

Don't think there is one. Pretty much the same story from the first fight: the longer it goes, the more it favors DC, and Rumble is a nuclear warhead early on. DC feels he can break AJ by taking him past the initial round and a half and Rumble says he's prepared for anything and will be more patient. No known injuries or major camp issues AFAIK. Both guys looking like they usually do in interviews/clips leading up to the fight.

I felt the same when AJ got subbed

But Cormier is a dad and a family man, so I understand why you said that exclusively for Cormier

emmett NSC -176, wow. thought this would be like -350

smashing this

Man, the more and more I look at tape I think there is a chance Strickland can take this, I am not super confident so I am not including it in my picks but I am going to take a stab at Stickland DEC at +615

First off Stickland is coming off a knee injury and out for a year, but it seems like some of that time was also spent on growing as a fighter and he is only 26. His home camp is with Team Quest who is know for a pretty good grappling based camp and for this fight he spent some time working on his striking at Black House with guys like A. Silva, Machida and Glover Teixiera.

Strickland can be so frustrating at times with his lack of urgency. He is a decent wrestler and I think he has the slight edge in striking here, and if he can keep distance and box up Usman he can take 2 out of 3 rounds for a DEC.

Usman clearly has the advantage in the take downs, and that is my biggest concern here. But also I have noticed in a few recent fights Usman has been more willing to use his striking and almost seems to be happy striking even though he has the clear take down/ground advantage. (I call it the Koscheck syndrome)

If Strickland can come out and throw those hands often and early while maybe stuffing a few take downs early and make Usman and his strong muscular build wear down a little bit, I think he can take this.

Not super confident but confident enough to throw $200 on his +615 DEC line.

Small stab at Rosa sub +1250. I think Burgos keeps it standing and wins the fight but Rosa is a legit black belt and I haven't seen Burgos really tested on the ground yet.

The most likely outcome is Emmet by DEC, I don't understand the odds
NSC is not the same as ITD, if that is what you are thinking. It is basically the same thing except if the fight reaches the scorecards it is a push

Damn +1250 is ridiculous

Ohh, that wasn't what I was thinking. Thanks!

yea. basically, i am huge on emmett NSC now. if it goes to decision, i get my $ back. if emmett finishes him, i win a bundle. if green finishes him, i lose a lot. but i doubt that happens.

tiny stab on rosa SUB +1250, even tho i have a moderate bet on burgos -179 (net price)

took holbrook DEC +815, too
