I think Edwards is a better version of Strickland and look what happened there. Plus Usman HAS to be improving fight to fight, hes one of the best athletes in the UFC bar none. And also, Strickland stand up straight stance is going to make it easier for Usman to get deep on the hips.

In other words, I agree with crewman and would be shocked if Usman lost this fight.

Another thing to know about Usman is that he is very intelligent. I'm not sure if people watch or no this (of course I know some of you do) but he does the commentary for Titan FC on UFC fight pass and he is a very astute analyst who gives brilliant technical analysis of what is going on and for each man needs to do in order to get the victory. His technical analysis is not quite as in-depth as Dominick Cruz (who I find to have the most brilliant mind in the game) but for someone who hasn't been competing in mixed martial arts for a decade, he is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he is a student of the game and very serious about his craft. I just think this goes a long way into telling you what kind of fighter he is.

Don't count Strickland out, the guy catches dubs, a lot of dubs. Usman has to take that first UFC L, everyone does.
What would be more edgy than a recommenced #elite play on Strickland?

Here's Strickland fighting 3 guys at once, holds his own.

The guy holding the camera is screaming "rape him" why do I get the feeling that cameraman went home and jerked off to this?

<6>

Ive been following and learning boxing bro. Fun sport. All these years Ive been betting on these fighters only to realize that I am a fighter myself

..... I have that fighting spirit inside of me the same way my wife has me inside of her every night.
.

Welcome back Crew. Neat idea naming your BF's penis "fighting spirit" and your asshole "Wife" BTW

Cute.

<mma4>

Seriously...welcome back

I get shit done boy & girls and my capping analysis is impeccable henceforth my every-growing profits. Work hard play hard is my lingo and when I grind in the lab best believe that's where the magic happens! I know it sounds cockamamie with how much I boast, but I get results and that's fat stacks of benji's. I've established myself as one of the world's 0.00001% master handicappers and I wouldn't be surprised to find out yours truly is a genius betting grandmaster picks picker. Look, I make well over 6 figures profit on a yearly basis. Make no mistake about it fellas I ain't immune to bumps and dips and losing days. That's full fucking disclosure it's not all roses and fairy dust, this is real life and hate to break it to ya, but shit happens sometimes. When it's all said and done though, I'm paying my mortgage, taking trips to Barbados chatting up babes, buying 4 figure bottle of scotch and fine whiskey and paying off my bike and Bmw.

It's Friday TGIF and I'm a man of my word. You'd have a better chance convincing me to sing Donald Trump's praises than to give away for absolutely no cost my high dollar exclusive VIP pick. Trust me, do not take this pick lightly because it packs more punch than a super Saiyan. The fact that I'm allowing a lot of peeps to tail my pick is just flat out insane. It's not only costing me money, but you know what they say "time is money" and honestly my biggest pet peave is freeloaders. My picks are literally me handing you bread cause at the end of the day we all need to eat. The bookies are all of our sworn enemies and giving them a taste of their own medicine is picture perfect. Best believe them be fighting words!

Now lets get down to the nitty gritty. My pick is my bond and you can rest assure I back up everything I say because I'm a man of my word. As plain as yogurt one person will be gifted $250 dollars should Barrygood1's pick lose. All you have to do is tail my pick and should the ticket lose and you provide proof of said slip then I'm handing you two and a half big ones. No questions asked you send me a legitimate way I can send you the money and bingo, bango, bongo I give you the bucks, baby. Simple as that. Now if you're expecting my bet to lose then that's a whole nother ball of wax. Ya'll think the kidd is just chomping at the bits to donate money away like chumps at a strip joint??? I'll say this: Good luck cause it'll be a cold day in hell before my VIP loses. That's the confidence I have as a gifted handicapper I'm literally a wizard at this no joke.

Chris Weidman +105 ML 15 Unit Monster XXL VIP Pick

Just to give a little insight in the mind of a cappin savant. I cap this fight -150 Weidman/ +135'ish Gegard. The value you're getting Chris at + odds is stellar and represents what I preach "value"
Gegard Mousasi is good fighter, but he's not in the upper echelon. Chris Weidman on the other hand is the real deal. You can make dull arguments about his recent losses to Rockhold and Romero but they're beasts as well. Ain't no shame in losing to the cream of the crop and I fully expect Weidman to win this fight.

-Weidman has the wrestling advantage. Gegard has mediocre takedown defense
-Weidman is the superior grappler
-I give the Gegard a pinch better cardio advantage but won't matter when Weidman tires the Moose via ground n pound transitioning to sub
-Gegard lost to Lawal because he wrestled and grinded the Moose. Wrestling = Gegard's kryptonite
-Loss to Uriah Hall is disconcerting but the draw with Keith freaking Jardine tell you all you need to know.
-Simply put this is a bad stylistic match for Gegard
-Wideman will have hometown advantage i.e crowd and more importantly judges on his side

Strickland/Usman

Man, I was hoping to see something in Strickland footage to make me pull the trigger with him as a substantial dog, but going back to watch tape has made me more confident in Usman. In fact it was Strickland's last fight against the Brit Tom Breese that totally puts me off off. I'm not really sure how he won that fight TBH. I mean, it wasn't a robbery per se, but Breese did enough to win IMO. He pretty much won rounds one and two respectively with clean striking and more effective damage. Sean was just point fighting and throwing out lazy LK's while working behind a nice — but weak — jab for the first two frames. In fact, when Strickland went back to his corner after the second, they scolded him telling him that he was down two rounds to nothing. Meanwhile Firas told Tom that it was 1-1. I understand that corners often lie to their fighter to get them to push forward, but I do believe that Strickland's corner was being straight up with him.

The big take away from this fight wasn't that it was a robbery though, it was that I'm not so sure that Usman/Strickland definitely over 2.5 anymore as I previously believed it won.. After watching Strickland and Usman tape, I actually believe Kamaru has a chance of getting the knockout. In every five he's in, and specifically the fight against Breese, we have Strickland repeating the cardinal sin of pulling straight back with his head bolt straight like it's on top a flagpole. Breese routinely cracked him for making the mistake and barely missed out from landing a couple good night left hooks.

The major difference between Breese just missing the kill shot and Usman landing it is speed and reach. Specifically, Usman is much faster than the Brit and he has a very long reach which could find the chin of Strickland with regularity and eventually hand the TeamQuest product a free nap. Precisely, Usman will enjoy a significant FOUR inch reach advantage over Breese (73.5 and 77.5 inches respectively) and the Nigerian-American is much faster with his hands. Plus Breese gassed out after r1 which altered the outcome.

Lastly it is noteworthy to mention that Strickland has been the beneficiary of a couple very close split decisions that incidentally took place in England against Brits no less. The English love them some "Tarzan" I guess? Unfortunately, this fight is happening in America and if anyone is going to be "King of the Jungle" it's going to be a Nigerian named Kamaru, not an American named Sean!!! LOL

I think Strickland gets styled on here and maybe, just maybe TKO'd.

Yea, it is getting to the point where 2/3 thread is a fucking circle-jerk and the auto-fellatio has me wanting to stick a shotgun under my chin and pull the trigger with my toes.

I agree but i don't expect a KO. I let Alvey's comments get in my head but being rational i've seen nothing from Strickland that makes me think he beats Usman.

Was this a mistake Barry? Other day you said "anyone who follows your pick and isn't white belt would get $250 back" but now I see "one person" instead. Which is it?

Emmett

Lol j/k

Seriously I do like Emmett though A LOT!!!

Went back and researched and yea, I'm confident on Emmett too. I was originally worried that Desmond could steal a couple of rounds with his wrestling. After all, Scott Holtzman was able to take Josh him down multiple times and Desmond's a much better wrestler than is Holtzman. However, Desmond has shitty cardio and doesn't want to get hit. Josh will be the bigger man and I also believe him to be more athletic. I honestly think that Emmett can get a knock out here. Emmett round three prop is a must play IMO.

Right. I do think Usman wins very convincingly though regardless.
