Most cops are bad people.....
.
This is total nonsense.
Most cops are bad people.....
.
Not true. I was responding to what you posted. There was nothing off topic about it.You were criticizing me for speaking on topic that's the problem you can do whatever you want just don't expect me to be off topic. This thread is about five cops who brutally murdered a person. This threat is about police brutality and corruption.
I really don't think you would know if that was the case it's not like they would advertise that kind of thing... And the truth is I've told a whole bunch of cops online that my cousin had this happen to him and not a single cop believed it and that's just what you face if you go up against the deep rooted cultural problem of corruption in policing. You get stonewalled and ostracized.
Most cops are bad people..... there's the percentage that are criminals and thugs and abuse their power and then there's all the cowards who don't report them (don't believe it) and dont something about it and then there's the people in leadership whose role it is to lead who are cowardly or corrupt or stupid themselves and do nothing.
Policing needs a babysitter. It will never change if the problem is addressed from within.
What is the first word you see when you bring up that article?https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cn...ichols-funeral-black-drivers-wiley/index.html
How can CNN make the claim that Tyre was killed for driving while black? You would have to prove that 1) There was no reason for the traffic stop and 2) Racism was part of it.
The truth is you don't know what you're talking about if you can't admit Black men are treated differently by LEO & agencies. That's cute. I'm honored that you'd give me so much credit for something I didn't do.
What exactly am I detracting from? Who's truth? Your truth? You're using the handful of comments I've made about Ben Crump and the stupidity of blaming white supremacy for black officers beating and killing another black man as some evidence that race issues bother me?
Seriously?
I tend to get irritated when people twist what I've said to fit their own needs. YOU responded to me first here dude. Next time keep scrolling.
See . . . here you go again. I haven't said anyone is crying or whining about Tyre Nichols death. You know that.
vs
You're free to whine about what I've said, but at least get it right. I have no issue with a family having legal representation.
You sound bothered . . . are you bothered? I anxiously await your incorrect take on another one of my posts.
What is the first word you see when you bring up that article?
So Blacks can't be racist????????
It really just looks like you needed to be outraged by something this morning. Otherwise why go to a site you know you'll disagree with, pick an opinion article, and come here to misrepresent what the article is? You want to be outraged and you want others to validate your feelings.Yeah it's their opinion. I still dont think it's right to race bait like that with no evidence.
The truth is you don't know what you're talking about if you can't admit Black men are treated differently by LEO & agencies.
Your nonsensical (no offense) & limited assessment of the situation does not take into account some very factual racial components in this issue.
- The questions about the white officer, his role, & his punishment are 100% legit & warranted under these extreme circumstances. It should be questioned. It should be scrubbed tooth & nail. At the very least the optics on that are horrific. Especially when they delayed and had all the time in the world to come up with something initially.
The racial component isn't just about "Black cops...Black cops." Its about how the overall system treats people of color. Even the cop criminal animals who committed the crime.
Its fair to look into why certain officers were punished a certain way & why others were not.
You are the classic apologist & enabler if you think you should let those sleeping dogs lie there.
You're still so narrow and immature. Shown by your deep issues with people calling out legit biases. However, you feel entitled to get on a soapbox about Crump. This is the same exact mindset that many southerners had when the north & the feds forced them to integrate. Deeming people troublemakers for demanding equality.
- Also, your false narrative about "it can't be racial because cops were black" doesn't make sense to anyone versed in the community.
So Blacks can't be racist????????
Anyone who knows or understands the issue or culture knows that Blacks even have a specific word for Black men who can't stand their own people and who wish they were white. Or who simply are complicit with their white friends on there being no race issues. These people are deemed "Uncle Toms." Maybe look it up. It's a known thing. A lot of times that term is weaponized and unjustly cast pretty regularly on some good Black cops. However, sometimes its used spot on for bad Black cops who have the same horrible sadistic issues as bad cops of all races.
Q: Are police culture and bad officers a systematic problem that impact all citizens???
A: Yes!!!
Q: Do bad officers power trip and have authority issues with abusing people's rights and intimidating them??? Even the whites???
A: Yes!!!!
Q: Is there a racial component that is attached to some of these violations & abuses of power that needs to always be explored more????
A: Absolutely!!!!!
When you make a false monolithic boogeyman like "leftist." Sure it fits neatly in your deck of cards. That is what leftists have been saying for a long time now.
White flag excepted, move along....There is nothing unraveling about that post. I'm sorry a real conversation and lots of words are intimidating to you.Holy crap. Talk about unraveling . . . . thanks for doing exactly what I expected you to do. But I have to ask, how heavy is that goal post dude? Is your back okay? You keep bringing up stuff I haven't discussed. If that's all you plan to do here why reply to me at all?
White flag excepted, move along....There is nothing unraveling about that post. I'm sorry a real conversation and lots of words are intimidating to you.
sure, but more money should go to preventing crime than solving crime, imo.Whoever said they did those things? They probably don't prevent much crime but they are still needed to stop crimes and arrest the people responsible. This is still 100% needed.
Its over your head don't try to tackle it sport.Whatever makes you feel better fella . . . conversations with lots of words are great when the discussion is legit. It's when they're completely fabricated and responses to things I haven't said that becomes tiresome.
Do you want to go off on another completely unrelated tangent again or what?
It really just looks like you needed to be outraged by something this morning. Otherwise why go to a site you know you'll disagree with, pick an opinion article, and come here to misrepresent what the article is? You want to be outraged and you want others to validate your feelings.
lol.Not true. I was responding to what you posted. There was nothing off topic about it.
You misrepresented the article itself. You asked how CNN could say this when clearly it was an opinion piece.I saw the article headline and was curious. What did I misrepresent? Everything I said was accurate.
Nothing I say will sway you even a little here, nor vice versa. We will just have to agree to disagree.
