Started watching an absolute beauty of a show last night on pure impulse. The Greatest American Hero is from the early 80's and it is fuckin great. So cheesy and awesome, the chick is a rocket and its just good silly fun. Its about a high school teacher and a drunk cop who are given a spacesuit with superpowers to fight crime.

Its fuckin dumb and fun.

A classic.

Started watching a show called obliterated on Netflix. Never heard of it. holy hell, there is probably more nudity and sex on it than any show ever. the three lead girls are hot as fuck. the main girl had damn near a porn worthy scene early on

they have some strange obsession with food though and as someone with misophonia, it drives me crazy how they pipe in the chewing noises so loud.

kinda torn. is pretty awesome with a lot of dumb stuff. i also get irritated when people throw in smartass/funny comments in the middle of life and death situations. this show does it a lot

I just finished it. I would say it walks that, so bad it's good, line.

Just a warning, there is a scene coming up that will make any man squirm.

just finished it right now. yea, i turned my head at that scene. could do with a little less male frontal nudity, but hapy all three of the female leads got naked at some point. not sure if there will be a second season, but i would watch. definitely a love hate thing

Anyone see "I have nothing" on Crave? The docuseries about the wanna be figure skater? It tried so hard to be uplifting but the main character was insufferable.

We played the theme in my high school band back in the eighties.

In case it wasn't already perfectly clear how much of a geek I am, I set my french horn aside to play solo euphonium for the number.

This is a euphonium:

For the peasants out there wondering wtf a french horn is:

Connie Selleca was definitely a rocket.

Loved this show when I was a kid.

Strongly recommend the theme.

Now replace the vocals with someone playing a mini tuba and you have me in high school.

Trying something different.

Dropping all episodes at the same time.

Releasing on Disney plus and Hulu

I think they just want to get it over with, keep discourse to a minimum.
Been watching Bookie on Max. It's awesome!

This has potential. I liked the first episode, Italian and black guy have good chemistry. I just saw someone covering the Italian's comedy career, watched a few clips on YT, he's pretty funny.

This show was smarter and funnier than it had any right to be

Just finished the first episode of Netflix's Yu Yu Hakusho live action adaptation. Normally I'm very wary of live action remakes of anime's because the track record ain't great. Decided to give this one a shot because YYH is one of my favorite anime's of all time grew up watching it on toonami in the early 00s.

Solid first episode 7/10 will for sure finish the series since it's only 5 episodes. I am a little concerned with how they are going to make 60+ episodes fit into 5 episodes neatly and coherently

Grew up watching that as a kid . . .

Season Two of GoL was good, but it lost a step. Also, I got tired of hosw much success one kept having against many, it felt wrong. Still a great watch though.

Rectify is one of my favorite shows, I spent a couple of years begging people to watch it.

Also, I'm sure you've seen this but if you haven't you must, it's one of the best things form the last ten years:

Loved the show.

Renegade Season 1: Episode 1

This is one of my favorite TV program introductions, ever. Corrupt police set-up a cop for his own fiance/girlfriend's death. The framed cop then flees and forms a bond with two other bounty hunters. Lorenzo Lamas/Reno Raines is really entertaining here kicking guns out of people's hands and actually fighting. Branscombe Richmond/Bobby steals the spotlight though as the slick speaking and joking Indian man
