@HughPhug
Half way through second episode of Des. I know I'm affected being I love Mays and am homesick a bit but I really like it. And my favorourite Dr Who is brill in it too.
I'm looking forward to it. Did you catch The Dublin Murders by any chance? That might be up your street.
And did you ever watch the Red Riding trilogy, that's worth finding if you didn't catch it

Yes! The Dublin Murders aired here, it was great. And I bought The Red Riding trilogy when I still lived in the UK.
I saw an episode of The White House Farm Murders back in the UK which was good and HBO have picked it up so looking forward to that.

Just finished Raised by Wolves. Great show but too many questions remain unanswered as the finale went in a somewhat vague fashion. Ridley Scott sure knows how to captivates the audience from the get-go though. The first two episodes were gritty and enthralling that it's almost impossible not to get invested or piqued the viewers' interest.

Only just discovered "The Boys"

I'm not generally one for "superhero" shows, just not into them. So a show where the superhero's are all assholes and its regular people trying to kill them off, is much more my thing :D

That's the genius of the show and the source material.

It appeals to the comic/superhero fans, to people who never liked hero TV shows and movies and to people like me who got sick of the over-saturation of the genre.

This was it for me, there’s just so much of it. But this, is brilliant.v

Lol, my husband's friends with someone (Eric Broadbent) who does a "Inside The Gilliverse" Breaking Bad/ Better Call Saul podcast with Tom one of the writers. Husband's been involved launching it a few weeks ago. Crazy 8 from Breaking Bad is on at the moment and my question was the first to be asked via him, lol. I just wanted to know crusts on or crusts off. And crusts off.

LOL! I love you, cuffs. Such a build up and then that question... <45><Lmaoo><45><Lmaoo><45><Lmaoo>

Haha. They seemed to find it pretty funny as well. I hardly put a great deal of effort into that one did I?

It's perfect! All impact, no effort!
Skip to 2 minutes 30 ish, husband is the Eamon Eric's talking about who asked the question on my behalf. Neat first question, haha. Shame I can't find the video of it, I was dead chuffed seeing Krazy 8's reaction.https://podcasts.apple.com/bf/podca...-domingo-krazy-8/id1200486692?i=1000494279925.

This is what we do at 6PM every Friday night, he's had some really cool actors from Gilligan's shows on there. The beauty of Zoom, right?

Y'all keep talking about Raised by Wolves, but Raised by Wolves in the UK is a (now a few years old, loosely autobiographical) sitcom set on a housing estate in Wolverhampton

DEXTER Revived at Showtime with Michael C. Hall Returning for 10-Episode Limited Series

JfPT64P.jpg

After a sojourn in the Pacific Northwest, Dexter is headed back to Showtime. The premium cable outlet has ordered a 10-episode Dexter limited series that will reunite star Michael C. Hall and original showrunner Clyde Phillips. The show will be a continuation of the original, eight-season series, which ended in 2013 with Hall's Dexter Morgan going on self-imposed exile as a lumberjack and living a solitary life.

Production is scheduled to begin early next year for planned fall 2021 premiere.

"Dexter is such a special series, both for its millions of fans and for Showtime, as this breakthrough show helped put our network on the map many years ago," said Showtime Entertainment president Gary Levine. "We would only revisit this unique character if we could find a creative take that was truly worthy of the brilliant, original series. Well, I am happy to report that Clyde Phillips and Michael C. Hall have found it, and we can't wait to shoot it and show it to the world."

The rather open-ended conclusion to the series led to widespread speculation about a spinoff, with then Showtime head David Nevins saying in 2014 that the network had discussed it but would only move forward if it "[felt] like a new show" and Hall was involved.

Phillips served as showrunner for the first four seasons of Dexter, leaving in 2009. During his tenure the show earned three Emmy nominations for best drama series and four Writers Guild Award nominations in the same category. He signed an overall deal with Showtime and CBS Television Studios earlier this year, leading to further speculation about a potential Dexter revival.

Shortly after the widely derided series finale, Phillips told E! Online that his vision for the series finale would have involved Dexter about to be executed for his crimes, and "in the gallery are all the people that Dexter killed" — which obviously would have cut off paths to a revival starring Hall.

Hall, for his part, received five straight lead acting Emmy nods for playing Dexter and won Golden Globe and SAG Awards for the role in 2010. His recent credits include Netflix's Safe and feature The Report.

Phillips and Hall will executive produce the Dexter limited series with John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Bill Carraro and Scott Reynolds.

First Look at SpongeBob Spinoff KAMP KORAL: SPONGEBOB'S UNDER YEARS

Nickelodeon has unveiled a first-look photo of SpongeBob and his pals Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, Plankton and Mr. Krabs — the characters in its new CG-animated prequel series Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years, the first original spinoff of Nick’s iconic hit series SpongeBob SquarePants. The art (see below) features the younger characters at Kamp Koral summer camp.

The spinoff follows 10-year-old SpongeBob SquarePants and his pals as they spend their summer building underwater campfires, catching wild jellyfish and swimming in Lake Yuckymuck at the craziest camp in the kelp forest. In Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years, SpongeBob meets Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, Plankton and Mr. Krabs, and the new friends embark on all the joys of camp, including hunting for treasure, slaplining and more.

Produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio, the series is slated to debut in 2021 exclusively on the newly rebranded Paramount+ streaming service. Following the season’s run on Paramount+, the series will air on Nickelodeon later in the year.

Hadn't heard of that. I wonder if I can find that. Reading Wolverhampton just gave me a shiver, Wolverhampton's one of the most grim places I've ever been to. Look pretty Shameless?

If youve ever read Caitlin Moran's work (she's a quite popular journalist over here, quite satirical), its loosely based on her childhood (very loosely). basically about being an unpopular overweight teenager

@Iroh
This week my question to Chuck from Better Call Saul on the podcast Eamon's friend's on? I asked if he stockpiled aluminum foil before Covid lockdown, he just laughed it off but then went into one about it for five minutes, haha. Do you watch BCS? Do you get the aluminum foil reference?
